Perfect fit, much much cheaper than a new motor.
Followed YouTube videos for instructions. Just the job, good as new.

Dyson runs like new for less than £10
Fearing I’d need to buy a new Dyson at £500, having looked on YouTube and watched a video on taking the machine apart to replace the motor as it was sparking, I decided that rather than spend £50 on a new motor I’d replace just the carbon brushes. 10minutes after unpacking these, they were fitted a the vacuum rebuild. Switched on and like new, Result! Spent less than £10 and saved myself best part of £500 and a trek around the shops!

Exactly what was needed

Good quality but I never used them properly as commutator packed in.
No issues. Well priced but i can't add much to how they would have lasted over time etc, as the commutator gave up the ghost. Sorry.

Check your commutator first
Brushes are fine, no problems there. But it if your vacuum stopped working completely chances are commutator was damaged/worn as well. New brushes would not solve this problem and you might get a fire hazard on your hands.
