It’s made of metal it is a solid piece it has some weight to it it’s a well made pedal I bought it for my husband and he was pleased with it

Q: can you just send me the bracket and screws for the back so i can use it..did not come with it?

Contact the seller and get them to send you a bracket, should have came with two and four screws

Q: What is the maximum width pedal it will cover?

Not sure. It fits on my 2005 Chevy trailblazer just fine. Has issues with tighten up the bracket but width wasn't a issue
