Spectra Premium C-698 Ignition Coil

I had a intermittent no start problem and rough idle issue on 91 v6 4Runner with 226k miles resently tuned up and found that It still had the original Toyota coil. I replaced it with this and now starts every time and has about 10% more power and better mileage.

I installed this along with all new ignition components (including distributor) on my 1990 3.0VZE 4Runner back in September of 2019. This generated excellent spark compared to the ignition coil it was replacing and was priced right.The truck ran great for a few months then had a few bouts of randomly dying while driving and in gear. Generally happened on snowy/slushy days, i chocked it up to being an intermittent issue that only happens during these certain conditions.Then as it became warmer, it was fine for a few months then lately the last few days has been down to it's last leg, randomly dying every 10-15s of driving only while the engine is under load. I swapped back in the old part it replaced back in September that had weak spark and the truck now runs fine with no issues for extended amounts of time driving.Now the fun begins, The part has a lifetime warranty through the manufacturer, Amazon shows to go to Spectra, Spectra's warranty info says to go back to the place of purchase for warranty. I'll update this as soon as I have this warranty issue resolved.
