It works as described

I was surprised at how well this heater heats the master bedroom, which gets colder than other bedrooms in the house. It is pretty quiet as well. Better than the many noisy ones I've had.

Maybe bcuz the dual Heating Fan. I find this does give off heat well. I found you have to have it directly facing you to even feel the heat. in room 15X20. I definitely had better heater. Will not buy or recommend.

I wan to return this product. It requires a dedicated 15 Amp power source and fuse. I'll need to make electrical upgrades to put this unit on a dedicated electrical power line.

Small an easy to carry. Perfect heater for the office, dorm, small room, ect....not only does it have a heater but a fan as well so it's still perfect for those summer months. Does auto turn off if tipped over an will auto turn off if it gets overheated. An one amazing thing about this heater/fan combination is that it comes with a remote as well, how cool is that.

The unit is lightweight and very portable, and puts out a lot of heat on high. The heat is wonderful close to the unit, and decreases to where I could barely feel it about 10 feet away both outdoors and indoors. The heat settings seem to be limited to a low fan speed, unless the fan speed changes automatically when the ambient temperature is cooler. The instructions talk about adjusting the thermostat temperature, but I could not find anyway to set a temperature that cycles the heat. It has a temperature sensor and can display the ambient temperature, but I don't see any way to set a desired temperature, even though the instructions seem to indicate that is possible (but don't say how to do it).The remote works fine up to about 15-feet away, if you point it straight at the unit. The controls are not the most intuitive but work fine. The button that looks like a small sun or light switches modes. It looks like it should turn a light on or off, so I tend to forget what it does. I also find it odd that it defaults to high heat, maybe because I was wanting to try the fan first. I don't like the idea of it always cycling on the heating elements even momentarily when I just want the fan. I feel like that will decrease the heating element life.When I first plugged this in and powered it on, I was surprised that it defaults to high heat mode. I was also surprised to see smoke come out the back, accompanied by a burning chemical odor. I unplugged the unit and tested it again outside, after opening windows to air out the room. Outdoors, there was no smoke but the smell was obvious. I assumed it was just manufacturing chemicals burning off, and the odor did indeed dissipate after just a few minutes. I would definitely recommend running this for a few minutes outdoors first.I really disliked the lack of adjustments. On high heat, the heat only blows out the front, in the shape of a cylinder about 6 inches wide. It doesn't really fan out beyond that, and the heat just kind of fades away. The instructions say this works best as a supplemental heater, and not the main source of heat for a room. I can see that being true, but it does put out a large amount of instant heat up close. I wish it had the ability to tilt, so heat or fan could be blown in a different direction besides straight out in a 6-inch circle of heat.Surprisingly, this unit produces heat without making the coils glow. I think they coated them with something that keeps them dark. That's great if you want to kick it on for a little heat in the night while other people are sleeping, and don't want to wake them. The tip-over shut-off works as advertised. When tilted to about 45 degrees, the heater switches off. The case also never got hot in my testing. The safety features seem well thought out.In summary, if you are looking for a portable unit that provides instant spot heating and you don't need to adjust the angle or set a thermostat shutoff temperature, this is a great unit!

I love this! Great airflow as well as heat production. I appreciate the versatility of this heater/fan; we're using it primarily in our workshop which gets quite cold and warm depending on the season. It's nice to have one unit to take care of all our needs. I had the chance to test the heating function on a chilly morning and I'm quite pleased with the output of heat. I may get another just in case!
