Good bottle but it has some disadvantages.
I purchased this item as an option to replace my 22 oz glass water bottles. I've simply broken a few too many over the years and it was time to replace them with something more durable. After considering my options I settled on this, the 27 oz Klean Kanteen and also a 24 oz vacuum insulated bottle to try. After using these bottles daily for a couple weeks I've been able to decide what I do and don't like about each of them. (Review for the other bottle to be posted separately.)Pro's:This bottle is light and not at all bulky. Perhaps I'm too used to my heavy glass bottles with the silicon/rubber sleeve but the novelty of the thin walls of this bottle and it's lack of weight is not lost on me.Safety. I never liked the idea of using plastic water bottles (even some BPA free plastics are potentially worrisome) which is why I turned to glass years ago and why I'm switching to stainless steel now.Simple design. The biggest advantage this bottle has over the other I purchased is there are only three parts total: the bottle itself, the lid and the gasket. Not much that can go wrong.Con's:You can't fill it to the very top. You have to fill the bottle so when you screw the cap in place it doesn't squeeze water out. This isn't difficult, you just fill it below the threads and you're good. I'd rather not think about it though and just fill my bottle as much as I want. The loop on top makes for an awkward handle. It's probably not meant to be much of a handle though, it's perfect for a carabiner but that's another purchase I would have to make to get an awkward and rattling functionality that I can easily get with another bottle option. As is, only one of my two smallest fingers fits which is fine for carrying it for a short while but I wouldn't just carry it around for any length of time like that. (I am aware of the sport cap option but I'm unconvinced I'd like it much more. I certainly wouldn't use the spout.)Overall it's a well constructed and decently thought out water bottle.Final thoughts: I like the wide mouth, I like the way it feels and I'd like to like it more but for my purposes it falls a little short. I can easily see how for some people this would be perfect and I would recommend it to anyone. I do like it, I'd purchase it again if I had a purpose for it but I'll likely be giving mine to my girlfriend who appreciates it more than I do.

I've been a satisfied customer of Kleen Kanteen for a couple of decades ...
I've been a satisfied customer of Kleen Kanteen for a couple of decades now. I started out simple – a couple 27 oz. bottles that I bought so I could get out of the cycle of using clear plastic water bottlesI've been “making” fresh drinking water (in a Brita pitcher) for even longer than that but until that point I was using small clear plastic bottles to store each pitcher of water in. I would use them a few times, until they began to get 'cloudy' inside and then I would throw them away. Along about that time, a lot of folks started complaining about how wasteful it was to dispose of plastic bottles and since that made sense to me, I invested in a couple of stainless bottles to see if that worked better for me. Flash forward a few months and the experiment was working so well I doubled down and bought two more. Now, with four 27 oz. classic bottles to work from, I always had plenty of cold clean water in the fridge and was no longer polluting the environment with used plastic!Flash forward a couple months more and I was so happy with the product that I added a 27 oz. Bottle to keep on my desk at work and a shorty 18 oz. to carry with me in the car. Around that time I also added a couple 40 oz. bottles for “long term” storage in the fridge.Time went by (as it does) and I finally added a 2nd 18 oz. Bottle to replace the 1st one that I had dropped and damaged. Then, most recently, I picked up a 20 oz. wide mouth insulated bottle for drinking iced beverages during the Summer. I point all this out so you can see I am anything but a casual customer of Kleen Kanteen. I have been very happy with their product quality and consistency all along and have continued to purchase their product any time I needed something. And while I'm on the subjet, let me say a few words about the customer service at the company itself...A couple weeks ago I had occasion to visit their website regarding a minor problem I was having. (I needed some replacement parts for some of the more well used bottles in my collection) I was unable to resolve the problem on my own so I dropped a quick email to their service dept.Imagine my surprise when I received a response within an hour and the customer service rep had laid everything out for me in a clear and concise manner. With his help I was quickly able to order the correct parts which were then delivered less than a week later! The bottom line here is that not only do they produce a consistently outstanding product, in my experience, they back that up with stellar customer service.Would I order from Kleen Kanteen again... as a matter of fact, I already have! Yet another new bottle is on its way from Amazon as I type this (I needed to replace a large Nalgene plastic bottle which had developed that black mold they get...YUCK!) and my new Kleen Kanteen 40 oz classic should arrive here today!

Also musste eine neue her - genau diese hier.

Was rumzickt, fliegt raus. Robuste, dichte Kappe.

Ottimo prodotto, come sempre
Quindi compro borraccie in acciaio inox.
