My mom needed a new vacuum and so I started researching immediately for the best option. I won’t buy anything that requires too much assembly by the consumer because I don’t have time for any of that and this one looked easy enough for us to handle. Also, I needed a long power cord that stretches across an entire room, which is not always available on all vacuums. This vacuum listed a long power cord in the description, which sealed the deal for me. Those were basically my main criteria right there!This machine has amazing power suction to remove all the pet hair on the carpet, along tile surfaces and furniture! The power cord is a nice long length, because I won’t purchase anything that requires me to charge or install batteries as that is a deal breaker for me! The ease of use with this vacuum works for anyone, which is great too. It took two seconds to assemble this baby because there were only a couple of main parts to click on and you are ready to roll! There are additional attachments for the hose, which are great for cleaning the drapes or car.Over all, this vacuum meets all my requirements and is easy to use. My mom loves it! She cleans a lot, way more than an average person, and it has a nice size for her to push along with no problems!

I love it works great on pet hair.Leaves my carpet clean. Gets the kitty litter up to. Always have liked dirt devils. I have no issues

Great vacuum, I've always loved all the Drt Devil Vacuums that I have owned. My only concern is that I have a hard time getting it to lock into the upright position when I'm done vacuuming.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Yikes. How can I complain about something that works too good? Well, I have to return this vacuum because it is so powerful that I can't vacuum even my largest area carpets. Even with it on the highest setting because it sucks them right up into the brush and gets stuck! I shopped and compared and compared and shopped and settled on this one but now I must start over. NOTE: GET THIS VACUUM IF YOU HAVE WALL TO WALL CARPETS. IT IS AMAZING! Also, note that it does not have a headlight. That is a big con if you ask me.

stopped buy dyson as they are too heavy - this is much better and I can afford a new one if I want every year

Great weight, durability, cost, and easy to clean. All parts are washable.

I LOVE THIS SO GOOD!!!!!!! it’s so easy to put together, but the pay off is amazing. i have two cats and rent a place with SHAG carpeting so obviously the litter has been a struggle. my last vacuum went dead and before that was barely making a dent in the amount of litter the shag carpet can hold. This vacuum had NO PROBLEM picking it all up and making it easier for me to have a clean good smelling house. I’ll never not get dirt devil brand again!

Happy with my new vacuum. It's a bit heavier than expected, but not too heavy. Works very well and I like the attachments. Most of all, I like that it's bagless.
