Took a few workouts to get used to, but now I love them
I have always worn cross training sneakers for weightlifting, but I haven been lifting at home (rather than at a gym) for the past three or so years. Where I have my home bench, rack, weights, etc., is carpeted. It was coming up on time for new shoes, but I haven't been able to find anything I liked. I have very flat, wide feet and I have one particular shoe brand that I stick with. But they haven't had any great shoes and a good price point over the last year.During a search around Black Friday, I randomly came across these shoes on Amazon and, based on the reviews and pricing, decided to give them a try. For gym shoes, I typically wear an 11 or 11.5 wide (2E). I measured using the info provided and ordered the size "11.5-12". After first trying them on I knew I wanted to keep them. My first workout with them was chest/tri (so not deadlifts). I think I made them too tight because after a few minutes of lifting it started to hurt where my arch should be (I literally have no arch in my foot). I loosened up the hook/loop straps and they were good to go. Then I started feeling like maybe they were too tight and my big toe kept hitting a weird spot. I wore them for a second workout, bicep/shoulder (so again not deadlifts), and they were more comfortable, but I was still thinking I might need a bigger size. I also realize I had been trying to push my heel all the way back in them instead of just wearing them naturally, but that was part of the process of getting used to this kind of shoe. By my third workout, legs and back, I had the hook/loop straps figured out and I was just wearing them naturally. My big toe wasn't hitting a weird spot anymore and I think the shoes loosened up a bit. Had a great leg workout, especially calves. I see why these are marketed as deadlifting shoes because I felt like I had a lot more feeling and control over all of my leg exercises (squats, deadlifts, calf raises). I also felt less pressure on my left knee which had previously been swelling after workouts. After that third workout I knew these shoes were good to go.They are definitely different than a cross trainer, and honestly I don't know if I would want them if I were still going to an actual gym. They really are like wearing just a shell of a shoe, so I would worry about hitting my toes on weights or equipment. I also don't like having to switch shoes or swap equipment during a workout, but some people love that. For my home use on carpeted floor with fairly decent weight (300+ bench and squat sets, 400+ deadlift sets) these are perfect. I don't plan on going back to cross trainers. Highly recommended if you know you want this type of shoe or even if you just want to check them out and see if it's worth it. Just note that it takes a few workouts to get used to them and break them in. I'm about three weeks into using them and I'm very happy I went with this shoe in the size I selected.

Can’t believe I’m Enjoying it!
I enjoy wearing it while I’m doing Body Pump. I don’t even have to wear socks as I’m still comfortable working out. I’m glad of my purchase!

Durable and lightweight, grips the floor well and gives you better three-point foot contact.
Great shoes, very comfortable. They bend well and give me toes a lot of room to spread so I get the three-point foot contact. I got a size too big (9.5US women's), and I need to return them to get a slightly smaller size (8.5-9US women's). How do I do that? Amazon, or the seller please help me get a smaller size, I've never returned anything online before

OK shoes
My shoes, but I feel like I’m wearing slippers in the gym. My under Armour shoes are a little bit more rugged and give better support.
