VenzoBike Adjustable Braze-On Front Derailleur Adapter Clamp for MTB Road Bicycles - Compatible with Shimano Sram

I replaced a very light K-Edge front derailleur braze-on adapter with this. The very light K-Edge adapter slipped down and the screw to tighten it is so small I don't think it could be tightened enough to keep it from slipping down. This thing is solid and it allows you to adjust the height of the derailleur separately from the clamp and angle of the derailleur, which is very helpful when adjusting the derailleur. I was able to fine tune the height and angle of the dérailleur better with this than with the previous adapter that was not height adjustable separately from the clamp. This allowed me to get the dérailleur aligned to shift perfectly. I am also confident that this thing won't slip down, though I am sure it is a bit heavier than the more boutique K-Edge. I don't mean to knock the K-Edge adapter, if adjusted and tightened perfectly it would probably be fine and lighter, I just prefer to have something easier to adjust and a bit more heavy duty like this. I am using it for touring and commuting rather than racing.

The product came later than listed on the product description page by several days, but then came a day earlier than stated on "product is running late" notice. This is for a bigger down tube so make sure you measure accurately. I initially ordered a smaller one, my fault. Just be aware that this is not a universal fit and there is very little tolerance.

I needed a clamp for my front derailleur that would fit a 28.6 seat Tube. I preferred one that wasn't black. This met both requirements perfectly. Strong, light, stylish (Now the girls are checking out my bicycle, not me! Well, two out of three ain't bad). Seriously, I don't have anything negative on this. It's all two thumbs up!

I needed to find a narrow diameter clamp for an old bike with a narrow tube. This fit perfectly and tightens nicely and there's no movement with the derailleur attached. Very happy with this purchase.

I’ve used these on 3 bikes, and with the right diameter they are better than a braze on. I line the insides of the radius with a small gorilla glue tape liner, and the paint on the bike frame isn’t damaged. I’ve had one of these devices on a road bike for over 15 years, and it’s still in place and working.
