For apply water based paint, do you laying off with a brush after rolling with this roller?

You can do if you prefer a brush finish but you wouldn't have to.

Is this good for water based dulux trade satinwood?

I used them for applying Dulux water based soft sheen paint, for which they are excellent. They are very thin so great for getting behind radiators.
