Good for one with shaky hands and blindness.
My brother has blindness and his hands also shake. A lot of times dialing the phone would be a miss dial number. You do have to set up the voice recognition with the person who is going to use the phone because it will not work with other voices. Of course you can always dial out by pressing nine first and then your number. He has used it for about a month now and seems to be happy with it.

Don’t buy this product.
I was drawn to this telephone for a relative who is sight impaired. I love the concept but it is not a great phone. The names are recorded by the person who is going to be using but if they do not exactly match when they are trying to place a call the telephone does not match so does not complete the call. The technology could use an update such as Siri. It does not have a speaker so attempting to assist the person who is recording the name is difficult because you have to keep passing the handset back and forth. The technology repeats the telephone number back to you but does not confirm or let you make changes. Because it suggested we used first and last names, if you have multiple people with the same last name you don’t always get the person you want. We tried by number, first name, first and last name and still had trouble. The company’s customer service is non-existent. I tried calling and emailing when we received it and just today. No answer to the phone call, email or return call.I would not recommend purchasing this product.

Miracle Worker!!!!!
I bought this for my mother, who has Alzheimer's disease. She no longer remembers how to manually dial phone numbers. The instructions were easy to follow and the phone took about 5 minutes to program. This has been a godsend for her. Thank you!!! Also, if your family member has Alzheimer's, it's a good idea to post a BIG FONT list on the wall of people they can call

Independence !
This telephone is totally amazing for my mother in law with alzheimer's. She could not make a call by dialing, but does remember the names of her family and old friends. Just has to speak a name and she is instantly in touch !Joyous.

The voice command system is amazing.
A great item for the blind, unfortunately a little costly for everyone.

Only recognized one voice
We bought this for my blind mother in law. I set up all of the names and numbers. When others tried using the voice dial feature it would not respond. Returned it for a refund.

Zero Customer Service
BEWARE!!! Customer service is non-existent!! I've been trying to get an issue resolved with the sound fading out. I've gotten absolutely NO response after at least 3 voicemails and 4 inquiries through the manufacturer's website customer service.
