I've had my Dash candy maker for almost 2 years now, and I absolutely love this thing! I use it literally every single weekend to make a batch of edibles as my main dosage route as a medical marijuana patient. It's as simple as plugging the base in, putting the cute little pot in the base, choose your setting (setting 1 is for chocolate, butterscotch, peanut butter etc and setting 2 is for Gummies) and wait for it to warm up. The Dash also comes with 2 small silicone molds (9 hearts and 6 bears) as well as a few really good recipes for things like sore throat soothing Gummies. I can't promote this product enough!

Best $20 i've spent in a while! Got it today, my grandson is sick, sore throat, low and behold! A recipe included for ALL NATURAL NO SUGAR NO ARTIFICIAL SWEETENER throat lozenges! The 4 tast old helped me whip them up! I am a distributor for Young Living Essential oils so we used our Lemon and Ginger vitality oils in place of the juices! It worked great! He has eaten several and says his throat feels better! SCORE! I've already ordered for another set of grands, and will be gifting the third set and the great soon!

I really like this chocolate maker.I'm on the ketogenic diet and this machine makes it very simple to make fat bombs with chocolate. Also made chocolate peanut butter for dipping strawberries.My only complaint is that the auto heat indicator light did not ever shut off but after about 10 minutes it's hot enough so just a little timing. Not a big deal.It's pretty small but it made 9 dipped strawberries and 12 chocolates.

It's very small. If I had seen it in person, I probably wouldn't have made the purchase for the price. Molds were nice enough. A dropper/filler would have been a welcome addition.

I asked the manufacturer, does it temper chocolate? They said yes. It definitely does not. It is nothing but a small hot pot. Silly and completely unnecessary product, nothing you could not do on the stovetop. I used 2 of their chocolate recipes, plus I used it to melt some dark chocolate I had, in all cases the final products were soft and melted upon picking them up, and left melted residue behind on the plate (even after proper chilling and setting) they looked dull, and all had to be trashed. I am returning for a refund.

I’ve got several styles of chocolate/candy wafer melting pots and this is my favorite for dipping pretzel rods as it’s deep well is great. I worry about the metal bottom of the pot rusting out as every metal in the kitchen seems to rust in my state but no problems so far. Melts quickly, easy to clean. I would have ordered another one but the price went up over two dollars within two weeks of my first order so. Didn’t bother with the reorder.

I use this mainly to make gummy candy in silicone molds. There's two settings and one is for gummy candy, the other is for chocolate. I've not tried melting chocolate yet. This is so much easier than using the stove and candy thermometer. And it's a easy clean up. I recommend it to anyone making their own candy in small quantities or using this for portioned recipes.

This product was purchased to make making chocolate covered oreos a bit of a quicker process but it turned out to be a lot smaller than I expected and was more work than my old method of microwave melting handfuls of chocolate at a time.
