This is an insanely great deal and an unbelievable monitor.
I don't know how anyone can give this less than 5 stars. This monitor is amazing. It's refurbished, but I don't see any indication of use with mine. It looks brand new.The overall design is very high end. And the display is exceptional. Whether you go split screen for work or want more immersion for games, this monitor delivers.I noticed several people commented that it doesn't have audio. There is an audio jack but no built-in speakers. That seems clear in the spec sheet. What an incredible bang for the buck.

Good monitor. but that LED...
Good monitor. Happy overall.Nothing new on this front, but don't expect it to be edge-to-edge. While it's bezel-less, the actual panel is about 1/4" off the edge. I would personally prefer a bezel but whatever, I didn't have any expectations to the contrary. This is pretty standard with "bezel-less" displays, at least in this price bracket1 major gripe (maybe 2 for others):That damn LED. So the Power button is also a little joystick. Push it to power on, push again to bring up menu, hold to power off. That's all fine. But it's also a light (as one would expect). So there's a function in the menu to turn the LED off. Wonderful, I said. Works great. Until the PC goes to sleep. Then the thing starts blinking! If it's off why the heck would I want ti to start blinking when the monitor should be going into standby???It's a white light - so maximum brightness. And because it's a little nub you can't put a dimming sticker over it. This is the reason for 4 stars. I'm not 5, I don't need a night light. And if I did I wouldn't want it to strobe. If I was getting it retail and had another option at a similar price I would absolutely return it for this reason. But, this is a refurb for $50-100 below standard so I'm gonna deal. I'll try some paint or something. Also, the possible 2nd gripe that might be a problem for some: that nubby is on the bottom edge of the screen, pointing down. Only a problem if you're doing an over/under dual-monitor mount. In my setup it happens to be the bottom monitor so no biggie but it's not gonna be ideal for a top mount. Then again it might obscure some of the light. Use your judgement.

Great picture quality and awesome real estate.
I purchased this monitor (certified refurbished) about 3 weeks ago and I'm very pleased with seller service, item condition, monitor performance and the real estate you get with this resolution. The monitor looks new, flawless. It arrived very well packed in it's original box which was protected by a second external box. In my case this monitor was shipped to another country outside the US and it arrived undamaged.Everything so far is working great. Image is crisp, no dead pixels and provides plenty of options for picture and brightness settings. Although the monitor comes with it's own stand which is very easy to install, due to my desk configuration and equipment taking up the surface space, I installed mine on one of those third party desk-monitor-arm stands with vesa 100 size which this monitor supports. For my needs I give this monitor 5 stars. My primary use is for work in audio recording and music production. I use Cubase pro 9..5, Pro tools 10 and FL studio and the amount of space I get with this monitor has changed my workflow, increasing productivity, speed and I enjoy my software and apps even more than before. This monitor replaced my dual 21 inch side by side monitor configuration I had before which was good but I was tired of there being a thick central vessel splitting my workspace. All around I think it's great for any application given the amount of stuff you can fit on it. I also enjoy watching movies on it, especially if they are in a 21:9 format since you don't get 2 black horizontal bars on the top and bottom; the image fills the entire screen. Some reviews lower the score saying that the speakers don't work and that it wasn't refurbished correctly, but consider that this monitor does NOT have built in speakers. It has a audio out port on the back to which you can hook up headphones or external speakers. This monitor may not include some of the bells and whistles other more expensive options offer but if you are looking for an affordable 34 inch ultrawide monitor which will perform great providing a vibrant color crisp image and awesome real estate (and if you don't care for built in speakers), you can't go wrong with the 34UM61.Make sure your GPU supports this monitor's resolution.

Broken upon arrival.
The screen is broken upon arrival, totally unusable. And I'm pretty mad at why there isn't anything mark on the box to indicate that it contains a fragile object.

Great ultrawide for the price.
I haven't had a chance to use this much, but what little I have I love it. I needed an ultrawide screen so I wasn't chasing my audio timeline every 3 seconds of play and this did the trick. My migraines have made my eyes all wanky when it comes to reading text and anything requiring visual/mental focus, so the larger screen really helped. I can't say how well it is for gaming. I assume mediocre given the price point, but this is purely a workstation monitor for me so it works great.

Very very good monitor
Really nice looking monitor, I don't use it for gaming as I have a 144hz monitor, but I have used it try out and the colors look really nice, I was impressed, this is a refurb and you cannot tell it is, It also has a vesa mount which is awesome, I have not used the stand at all. Also has software that allows the monitor to be split up ion different sections, but I found that annoying as you cannot have programs overlap on the setting you chose, so If I chose to split it in 3 sections I cannot make 1 of the three windows smaller or bigger without the other windows as it would default to the size. Colors are really nice, menu are really great and has a lot of options to change it. Have not tried using the 75hz as I don't think it would be much of a difference from 60hz.
