These are good stakes, but honestly they are no better than the identical Coghlan brand stakes you can buy at Academy. I got these stakes in 7 inch length which turned out to be too short for my needs (my fault, not theirs) so I went to Academy and got a 4 pack of identical 9 inch Coghlan brand stakes $2.50 (price equivalent to $5 for 8 Coghlan stakes vs. $15.50 for 8 of the 9 inch stakes like this). I have used both and cannot tell the difference. Seriously, they are clones of each other in all respects other than the color: same design, same dimensions (other than length) and as far as I can tell, the same material. Oh, and the Coghlan stakes even come with nylon cord already tied in a loop on each stake for easier pulling - I had to tie my own cord on the 7 inch ones of these. Personally, I wouldn't waste my money on these when you can get identical stakes for 1/3 the price. There is nothing wrong with them, they are good stakes, but they are overpriced in my opinion.

I bought these to replace some of the junk ones that came with a tent I purchased recently. They are ultralight and work fine.

Was able to bend them back somewhat, and can't complain.Good to have on hand when you open up your tent pack.

We used these for 2 weeks straight in the back country of the rockys in tough ground. They held up great with no significant bending or breakage, they were well worth the price. The added whistle was a bonus.

They're tent stakes. What do you want from me. Do you know how hard it is to review a lightweight piece of sharpened aluminum? The are pointed, painted and hold your tent or hammock lines in place :)

1 stake bent the first time used... could have gotten the basic same stakes at Academy for 2.99, good thing we had extras

the stakes are great. very strong, light weight. went camping in a very rocky area - used to be a quarry and the stakes went in even when other traditional stakes would not. great product.

they are a little shorter than what i usually use, but they are big enough to do the job... i through them in the pack as a few spares to my main ones...
