Good outdoor practice basket
Purchased this for practicing putting in the back yard. While the Mach2 baskets have a reputation for not catching disks as well as other models, this works well for me as it forces me to be more precise with my putts. It is sturdy - I have not needed to anchor it to the ground in any way and it is sitting on a typical back yard lawn on a flat location. It is kept outside all the time and I have not purchased a cover for it yet. No rust in 2 months of daily use and regular rain including two of the recent tropical storms that sent a bunch of rain our way. Assembly was quick and reasonably easy for a healthy 50+ year old man though it would have been easy with a one other person helping with alignment. There are bolts and nuts that hold the pieces together. A small wrench that fits the hex nuts, but it went much quicker with the help of a socket wrench. I would recommend this for a more permanent placement versus breaking it down and setting it up constantly. If you need something you want to break down, throw in the trunk, and take on the road or something that you can setup, use, and then break down at the end of the night to bring into the house/shed/garage, unless you're planning to anchor it to a custom-made base with casters on it, I would say look to one of the other more portable baskets. The basket is also a little shorter - 6 to 12 inches - than the baskets on the disc golf courses in the area. I'm going to build a raised base of brick pavers to address that issue. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase - it was everything I hoped it would be plus a little extra in terms of stability, weight, and quality material. I would purchase it again, and would recommend it to family and friends.

Exactly what I hoped for. Excellent Practice basket. Feels like the start of my own course.
This is something I've wanted for a long time, but couldn't convince myself to spend the currency to get it until now! So glad I did. Is the best permanent outdoor basket for the price. I can leave it outside all winter long here in Western New York state and not worry about it getting rusted. I use it in my woods at the end of a skinny fairway I've cut out. It catches well. Disc is prone to spit through it from time to time but that's to be expected from a practice basket and not a certified course basket. Overall very pleased with the purchase.

Great live-outside basket
It was pretty easy to assemble. 18 chains catch the discs very well. It really is great bang for the buck. It's made of galvanized steel (except little hooks and hoops that hold the chains), so you can keep it permanently outside and not worry about corrosion. It's heavy enough to not be wobbled by disc impact, but light enough to drag/roll it across the yard for different placements. I am glad I got it.

Certainly holds up to weather!
I just came back to this product listing thinking about buying a second DGA Mach II for my backyard to make a multi basket course and noticed that I purchased my first one in September 2014.My basket has been sitting outside for just shy of the last 2,500 days. Almost 7 years. And other than the label being faded, it looks like the day I received it. Not a spot of rust or corrosion. It lives outside in my yard in Pennsylvania where it is subjected to 100 degree summer days with baking sun, sub-zero winter nights, driving rain, sleet, ice, snow, and howling winds at various times. Never once has it budged, and not one bit of wear.If you were wondering whether the Mach II can really be a “permanent” basket, I’m pretty confident the answer is yes!

Looks Great at Several Months
We use this often and I plan to save and buy more. From all the looking I did, this was the most high quality basket I could get for the money and it has not disappointed. If you want high quality but watch your Pennie’s, this is the one. I will be curious how it weathers winter.
