Fantastic little PC
I’ve been using the Beelink SER7 mainly as a Proxmox host, and it has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance and versatility.I’m running several Windows 11 and Windows Server VMs on this, and it handles them effortlessly. The performance is smooth, and I’ve encountered no issues, even under load.I added an extra NVMe drive, which was easy to install. It’s great to have the flexibility to expand storage without hassle.I also use Windows 11 directly on this device, and it runs flawlessly. It’s quick, responsive, and feels just as powerful as a much larger system. The small form factor makes it perfect for a tidy setup, and it runs quietly, even when handling multiple VMs or tasks. It is a fantastic option if you’re looking for a compact yet powerful device. It’s perfect as a Proxmox host, handles VMs like a champ, and also works seamlessly with Windows 11. Whether you’re using it for testing, development, or as a daily driver, this little machine delivers. So impressed with it that I bought a second one for my daughter to replace our existing PC, to use W11 on for gaming and school work.

Will need a wired keyboard and mouse to set up.
Amazingly small, and virtually silent in use. So far has done everything I have asked of it. Powerful and responsive.Setting up was a breeze as long as you have a keyboard and mouse that have wires or use a wireless dongle. I bought Bluetooth ones which won't connect until Windows is set up, but you can't set up windows without a keyboard and mouse. Windows install otherwise goes fine and there was no bloatware on the machine just windows, how refreshing. One small criticism is that there is no vesa mount so it won't attach to the rear of a TV or monitor. However it is small and grey so sits on a shelf or desk and you hardly notice it (just a single small white light when on). Not being at the back of the TV does mean it is easier to turn it on or off. I'm using it as a pc in my living room to access streaming services and my own video library on an external drive so I only have a mains lead, hdmi, and USB lead connected which keeps things super clean. Used it for some image editing with quite large files (150 Mb +) with no lag or problems. I'm considering replacing my main pc with another one of these which would give me so much more space. Why did you choose this product over others?:Reputation of Beelink and it's value for money, particularly that it had 32gb of memory.

It’s small, it’s quiet and it’s powerful.
Back usb-c does power - so you can plug in a mobile screen (10.1) and mini setup stashed anywhere. As it has npu notepad is now copilot powered. Works out the box and is fast. It’s silent.Does have an external power brick.

Wi-Fi doesn’t work
Thought this mini pc was a great offer due to its fantastic specifications and its price reduction on Amazon then whilst trying to set it up I found out why.The WiFi connectivity connection continues to drop out - all my other devices connect to my mesh network no problem.I investigated and looked on SERS7 forums to find this issue is widespread, I wasn’t happy especially with Amazon selling this product and obviously discounting it due to this problem

Great design and performance, but stability and WiFi issues
The device is well-built, looks great, and runs very quietly — a solid mini PC in terms of design and hardware.Unfortunately, I encountered poor WiFi stability, which forced me to switch to a wired connection. After a few months of use, it also started freezing during work or rebooting unexpectedly, even with all updates and drivers in place.I've contacted Beelink support and am currently waiting for a response regarding troubleshooting or possible RMA.

Well worth the price
Works remarkably well, even the Wi-Fi., where I was getting 894Mb out of a potential 1000 with router downstairsWould not complete any benchmarks from 3DMark though at 65W performance mode, it would reboot. Gaming on that setting was just fine, with no crashes.Get around 30 - 40 FPS on Fallot4, Last of Us, Cyberpunk, Hellblade, all at 1080, low settings. On Linux btw that went up to 40 - 50 FPS.I will be lining up an external GPU, so see how that improves. Only a 2070 super, but should be better. The fan is near silent sitting 1 metre from it and at Worst, a breeze like noise. It runs and works just fine, just don't expect desktop graphics quality from it is all. You can game at 1080, low to medium and get a playable experience, just don't expect what it cannot deliver and all will be fine.
