Martha Stewart Crafts Liquid Gilding (0.75-Ounce), 32214 Gold

Used this on a craft project - painted an Ikea desk from black to gold. It turned out very nice! The gilding is VERY strong smelling so be aware of that but it covered the desk nicely and is a very shiny true gold.

This gold leaf paint is so easy to apply and so stunning! It is shiny like metal once dried, and a very pure gold in color. I used this on some agate slices with bumpy edges to "frame" the agate colors and the paint went over each nook and cranny seamlessly. The container is pretty small, but a little goes a LONG way. I tried regular gold leaf before this and found it so frustrating and impossible to apply to non-smooth surfaces, and this gold paint is so beautiful and perfect for so many projects. Highly recommend. :) It's been over a year since I painted those agate necklaces and the gold is still as brilliant, shiny and unchipped as when I first applied the paint.

I used this to paint a quote on my nursery wall and I love how it turned out! It was pretty easy to work with... you have to give it a good shake before using it. The shimmer is beautiful! Exactly what I was looking for...Other reviewers mentioned that it is toxic and that is NO JOKE. If you're pregnant (or even if you're not!), you should definitely considering using one of these:  3M Paint Project Respirator, Medium The light masks won't work... you honestly need something this heavy duty. Although, I was painting on a wall and so the paint was closer to my face... but even my husband commented when he got home that the house smelled like heavy duty paint. 3M Paint Project Respirator, Medium

I used this product with great success. It was easy to use, covered exceptionally well, and required no prep on metal surface. I recommend it.

I purchased this once before to line the edges of some polymer clay coasters and its super cute and legit metallic looking. It's just got an aluminum screw-on cap (and that lil piece of paper in the cap) so its not the greatest seal. Definitely wipe the edges of the jar and cap before you put it back on just in case. So the packaging isn't super but it's also manageable. My first jar dried up at the very end, and I tried to find a similar product in stores and everything is acrylic water base and does NOT have that gilded look no matter what the bottle says. This one does. I will say though that after time it fades a bit, but not much and it could just be a process of drying. Pictures are from now but of something from my first bottle, years ago.
