Very secure Key holder.
LOVE THESE. They are really secure and I hated how my key rings would get bent and slowly slip off, losing my keys. These are wayyyy more secure. I used a metal cutting wheel to expand the opening just slightly to fit certain keys. Very secure. Love that they are stainless since Im always near the ocean. Not only are they secure, but they open and close pretty easily for removing keys. faster than a normal split ring.

Nice but too small for pet tags.
This is a sturdy, but very small carabiner. My sister, who works in a pet store, gave me a similar carabiner to attach my dog's tags to his collar, and I liked that one very much. This carabiner is the same brand, and it's even marked "microlink" like the one I already had, so I thought I was ordering one just like the one I already had. Turns out this one is even smaller. The opening is too small to pass the D-ring of my large dog's collar through it, so it won't work for my intended purpose. Turns out Nite Ize also makes one that's very slightly larger than this called a pet tag carabiner, and that's the one I really wanted. My bad.

Just what I needed
I purchased these tiny carabiners so I could attach my sunglass case (that has a small D-ring on it) to my backpack for easy (external) access. These were PERFECT! I've only had them for a couple of months but the one on my backpack was subjected to quite a bit of drizzly weather on a recent trip and it still looks like new. I don't know if I'll find uses for all four of the micro carabiners - I'll just have to keep my eyes open for opportunities.

Best for thin keys.
I was hoping to use these little clips to attach and detach dog tags easily. However, the opening is too small so I could not put them on any of my dog collars or harnesses. They will only hold thin items. Great quality and strength, but not for my use.
