LED ME® Fire Rated GU10 Downlight Fitting Recessed Ceiling IP65 Bathroom Light [Energy Class A++]

Bought this to replace a similar recessed downlight over a shower - which had simply fallen out of the ceiling. This product was far superior and fitted easily and perfectly in the existing hole. Furthermore this product takes the standard GU10 fitting which meant a simple mains connection without the pfaf of having to install a transformer for low voltage LEDs. Definitely recommend it - plus the price was very reasonable.

This seems a bit misleading, size does state 100mm normally with downlights the size is the main can size, normally without connection block size unless stated otherwise. Bought for a Philips Hue bulb, comments does state it will fit, but it don’t.The cans are 85mm in length which are no good for Philip Hue bulbs. You need a can size of at least 100mm to fit these bulbs, and this size does not include small glass seal area with the IP65 holders.It’s still a decent holder good quality for a standard GU10 bulb, and a decent price.

Quite nicely made, easy to connect up, nice little touches like securing posts for fittings so it’s easier to fit cable clamp etc.

Bought as downlights to garage and looks amazing, husband found them easy enough to install and have a great effect

Used to replace an external downlighter in a porch over a front door, so I could use dusk to dawn bulbs. The combination works perfectly, although can’t comment on the longevity.

They are great, the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bezel that holds the lamp in place isn’t the best solution. I find they move a lot and can fall out off place. Also if they had flex coming out of the light fitting would have been a nice touch.

I needed to replace the existing fitting. This downlight fitting is good quality, a strong cable connector with a quality cable clamp. Easy to fit, looks good it was a good choice for the money.

This is a strange one as I actually requested to send this back for a refund but then decided to use it for an extra outside light for under my soffits. For this I give it 5 stars as it does the job it is intended for.For the job I originally bought it for I give it 3 stars, we are in the middle of ripping out our bathroom and changing this around, I needed another ip65 gu10 fitting to add to my others to put above where the new sink/mirror is going to be located. Only problem being is it is too small to fit Philips hue bulbs. As these are a little longer than standard gu10 you can’t screw the fronts back on to the lights. I have different ip65 gu10 fittings around the outside of my house and in different bathrooms and never came across this problem.A bit disappointing, for this reason I only give 3 stars
