A Walter Worm is actually not a worm at all, but called a worm because of their minute size and worm like appearance. Walter Worms are actually a species of nematode, which grows on average to 1.5mm or less. They are a little smaller in size and rounder than the Microworm and are non-parasitic so live off of the bacteria and yeast from the culture medium. They live for about 35 days and a female Walter Worm can have 60 young a day at around 4 days old. You will receive a portion of freshly harvested worms, capable of kick starting your own culture. These are not the 1 or 2 inch square miniscule starter cultures that I have seen being sold. These are 4.5 x 5 inch bags full of healthy worm culturesIf looked after you can have a everlasting supply of live food for your fish, with minimal hassle. All you need is a small container, oatmeal and bakers yeast as some food.- FREE UK P&PPosted Monday to Thursday in a protective cardboard box that fits through a standard Letterbox.
