Wolf Air 20m 8mm Bore ¼” BSP Retractable Rubber Air Hose Reel - 2 Years Warranty

Bought to allow me to get compressed air to any point in my garage/home workshop. I ran 15mm copper from my compressor to where I wanted the reel, with a filter/regulator and drain point before it, and mounted the reel up high so the line clears all obstacles more easily. The bracket mounts securely with 4 wall plugs and lag bolts (supplied), 10mm drill bit required for the holes. Retracting mechanism works really well (much better than the two garden hose reels I've got!). 20m allows me to get anywhere in the garage I want, and even down the drive to inflate car tyres there. The fittings seem to be of high quality (brass 1/4" male at both ends, crimped to the hoses) I had to buy some 1/2" to 1/4" reducers to fit to my system, as I terminated the copper with female 1/2" fittings (female 1/4" solder on fittings for 15mm copper don't seem to be a thing). The hose is of good quality and seems pretty robust, it's also got a bigger (8mm) ID than some of the cheaper lines, so will give you better air flow. Not the cheapest available on Amazon, but no where near the most expensive either, glad I spent the few extra quid for this one. No more coiling up, and hanging loose air hoses on the wall!

I bought this airline about a month ago for use in my work shop with a blow gun and for inflating car tyres etc.The whole thing is made to a good standard with a nice solid feel to it. The 20m airline is more than adequate for my needs and the re tractor mechanism works well and is consistent in its action.The reel and airlines are easy to install although you do need to buy your own connectors which for me cost about £20.00. My only criticism is that the "tail" of air line that connects from the reel to the compressor is quite short which means you either have to raise the compressor, have the reel at a low height or buy an extra bit of hose together with another £20 worth of connectors. In spite of that I still give this item five stars because it does everything I require of it.

I'm happy with the air reel, it works well and looks good on the garage wall. The only negative thing I found was the swivel bracket tolerance was not as expected; the hole for the spindle is slightly too big and as a result the unit hangs down slightly due to the weight. That being said it's a good buy for the money.

Item arrived very well packed with clear instructions. When connecting the couplers I was pleasantly surprised the hose ends come pre wrapped in ptf tape. Once connected I trialled with blow gun attachment air was consistent from compressor to outlet and coil feature worked great. I look forward to wall mounting tomorrow a larger drill bit needed. Really glad I bought this one

The hose connection inside the body leaks air and cannot be tighten due to not being able to access.Would not recommend this product.

I don’t know why I hadn’t bought one sooner! Great piece of kit and keeps the airline tidy In the garage, very well made!

I paid £60 for it and it's worth it for that price. But I wouldn't pay any more. Mine arrived with a leak. You need to remove the cover and tighten the hose clip that attached to a very flimsy plastic adapter. This, and the ridiculously small length of hose to your compressor are the big let downs for this hose. And its retraction is weak, but I can live with that - you just need to feed it back in manually most of the time.The hose is 8mm ID - which is ok for the price although I'd prefer more standard 9.5mm for improved airflow. But the installed 1/4" BSP connectors have a very small bore. I've ended up snipping off both ends of hose and installing PCL adapters throughout. I've lengthened the hose to the compressor using a 1/4" BSP union and installed PCL XF Euro adapters. These adapters have a much larger bore again for better airflow.One final note is the hose is described as rubber but it feels fairly cheap. It is more flexible though than other hoses I have and it does the job.

I’ve had this product for just short of 12 months and it was mounted on the wall in my garage at home.I’ve only used it twice since purchasing and installing and now it is broken and leaking air from a cheap plastic/nylon component inside.It is leaking a considerable amount of air from the base of the plastic nipple were the red inlet hose attached and on closer inspection it looks like there is a break or split.I have contacted the supplier which is UK Home Shopping regarding warranty and they seem to be dragging their heels in regards to providing a solution, they even had the cheek to ask if I’d checked the jubilee clip for tightness!! Come on I’m not that naïve!I see the product is no longer available and I’m just wondering if this has anything to do with overall quality issues?Very disappointed
