Never regretted buying this fabulous camera
Everything about this Lumix G9MII is fantastic, the feel, the weight, the handling, the autofocus, the eye-detection, the stabilization...just everything !! And Micro Four Thirds, just brilliant! I came from handling 35mm film camera before and the transition into all digital has been nothing but an eyeopener, so many features and functions are available now, and having a 100-400mm lens with it which translates into a 200-800mm full frame lens is mind-blowing....yes, I LOVE it !!!And don't believe people who say MFT can't handle low-light situations, the G9MII shows totally the opposite. Thank you Panasonic-Lumix for creating this award winning beast!!

Awesome m43 camera
Good handling grip, fast focusing speed, large buffering, prebrust mode is amazing, only the battery life is not good enough.

Possibly the best/second best Camera for M4/3?
Ok first thing, I think the body on this camera is fine, but I liked the original G9's more. Focus and tracking are good, but initial lock isn't as swift as Olympus's cameras. Once locked its very good, but it feels like it has to get out of the chair before it gets it shoes on. I've used this with my Olympus and Panasonic Lenses and it works very well. Focus is night and day vs the G9 which was terrible for anything moving faster than a snail. Also I love the Leica Black and white mode, very nice look to images.

Get out and shoot
The Lumix G9II is a hybrid, Micro Four Thirds camera aimed toward photographers (who’d have thought!) but it has pretty impressive video features and is in pretty much the same body as the Lumix S5II.It uses a 25.2 MP Micro Four Thirds sensor so has a crop factor of 2x, meaning that its field of view is effectively double that of a full-frame camera with the same focal length lens. The camera has a boat load of video modes including anamorphic filmmaking modes. It’ll take me a while to get to grips with most of them as I don’t use video that often and there’s a lot of numbers involved here, 5.8k 4:3 17x9 30,60,120p etc. There’s enough here to keep the average budding videographer happy.I'e been impressed with the image quality so far, in test portraiture I had the thing all photographers love of the subject saying “ooh your camera takes great photos!”. Yeah…The fast burst mode shooting, and the phenomenal auto focus on this are next level. The blurb says, "This sports camera boasts Phase Hybrid AF with 779 AF Points for high-speed, precise AF, while 8.0-stop 5-Axis BIS, 7.5-stop 5-Axis Dual IS, and Active IS Technology compensate for camera shake."I don’t pretend to know what any of those words actually mean, but “damn it’s fast” pretty much sums up my thoughts on the autofocus speed, and it’s consistent too.You can even add LUT’s in camera so you can essentially edit your photos in camera, this blows my tiny mind. The menus are choice heavy on this so it’ll take a while to properly get stuck in, but first impressions are the lens is solid, the camera feels great in the hands and really well built. The menu system is pretty self explanatory and user friendly and basically, this camera just makes nice pictures. If you’re new to mirrorless then it’s probably going to be a question of FF or Micro 4/3 but if you are already a Panasonic user then this upgrade really does hit the mark for photographers, giving really pleasing results throughout the zoom range of the lens in a nice looking form factor with decent weather sealing and lens availability.Looking forward to more shooting with this over the Christmas period and getting to test it’s low light performance more.

Stunning photos!
This is such an incredible camera! I've owned a few DSLR and compact cameras over the years, and this one blows me away with the picture quality. Even an amateur or beginner photographer can get professional quality pictures with this. The lens is incredible quality and has the ability to retain photo quality even at full zoom, which is actually a more impressive zoom than I expected on a lens bundled with this camera. The screen on the camera is so functional, with its ability to rotate fully to any angle, including front facing, if you wanted to use the camera in more of a selfie mode. It has compartments for 2 SD cards, making it ideal for multiple projects, or for example if you were using this camera for both work and personal use, as you can set it to save photos to the different SD cards.I've had this camera for almost a month now and still haven't used all the features or figured out everything on it, so there's a lot to learn and discover, but so far I'm amazed at the photo quality, the speed, the design and ergonomics of it - it's a very premium feeling camera and has been well designed to feel comfortable and functional, while producing incredible photos. The only thing I feel doesn't live up to the 'premium' feel is the charger - the camera comes without a battery charger, instead it has a charger which is plugged directly into the camera itself. This might be handy for some people, but I don't like leaving the camera body on charge, possibly in a place where it could be knocked, close to a wall socket for example. The plug itself is a weird horizontal shape, which means it cannot fit in an extension lead unless it's on the very far right of the bank of plugs.Overall, it feels incredible to use and produces amazing quality photos, even in low light and with moving subject matter. If you have the budget, the body and lens bundle is an absolute dream to take photos with.
