CRC HydroForce Industrial Strength Degreaser, 5 Gal, 14417

Use Simple Green first to get rid of all the oil and grime then use this to melt the rest away. After using the Simple Green first, this will foam up… otherwise it doesn’t foam up from to much oil. I used these 2 combos to clean out the EGR system that clogged up on my 2010-2015 Toyota Prius without using all the toxic chemicals.

It works very well I use it for cleaning bicycle chain. It is much cheaper than the solutions they sale labeled for that application. I'm sure you can use it for other grease and grime removal. I clean my chain about every 100 miles which is three times a week. It does not clean the chain quite as fast as the bicycle brand I normally use but it is worth the financial savings.

I purchased this after reading a review for it at: [...]I use it to clean motor oil off the funnel and collection container. Surprisingly, it's a tough job for any cleaner to remove used or fresh motor oil from hard plastic funnels. Super Clean (in the deep purple jug) pulls all my skin oils from my fingers but leaves a lot of motor oil on the funnels. An acid-based cleaner doesn't work either. Only thing that does work well is Breeze, but that's only available from the creator nowadays and you have to buy 4 gallons per purchase so it's not feasible. Well, at a 3water to 1cleaner dilution this works better than Breeze and doesn't suck the skin oils from my fingers! I'd encourage you to read the link above for a review of how it works for other degreasing chores, but for my pet peeve, motor oil on hard plastic, it's the best thing I've used yet.

Have used this product for many years for lots of things from automotive to laundry.It is water miscible so it flushes out great with no solvent residue or odor. However,it does not smell great to use. Researched this and it is generally regarded as the best of its kind.Package was soaked because someone stupidly threw it in the box without any wrapping.Amazon made good.

First time I ventured out to do De-greasing of engine bay of my 1998 Toyota Corolla by following Greg, the car angel video.CRC 14416 Hydro Force Industrial Strength. De-greaser is a water based top quality product according to the consumer forum. After spraying this product I let it sit for 5-10 minutes to work its magic way and pressure washing it, the engine bay looked immaculate. I highly recommend this product not only De-greasing of the engine, it could be used to clean the mesh of your kitchen exhaust. My wife used this product to clean the oily kitchen mittens which cme out clean. I'm happy others like this product. I think it's the least effective degreaser I've ever used. I bought it for use in the kitchen. The best I can say is that it pushes the grease/oil around. I had some frying splatter on my glass cooktop that sort of cooked on in little droplets. I sprayed with Hydroforce and left overnight. The results would have been the same if I had used water. A quality window cleaner does a better job. I find it has a disagreeable odor, also.

This is super strong stuff!! Make sure you are well ventilated, wear mask, gloves and safety glasses. Spray and then leave the room for a minute or two, then come back in with your protective gear on and wipe clean. It works like magic, but be safe. I thought I could be tough the first time I used it and ended up not feeling so good and had to go to bed. The next time I used it I was smarter and wiped away 20 years of grease and grime in just minutes.

I read a review claiming this stuff was superior to other degreasers, by a large margin, so I decided to give it a try on a grungy jukebox mechanism where there were many nooks and crannies. I was amazed to see the gunk dissolve and run off on contact. Minimal mechanical scrubbing was required on the dirtiest spots and a water rinse left it looking like new. CRC HydroForce really IS that much better!
