This is revolutionary for cutting onions and garlic.It does it better than I would by hand in a fraction of the time.the only issue I have with it is that the cord eventually wears down.I've not marked this down as - when I went back to the manufacturer about this, they sent me out a new one.So customer service is also 5 star.Everyone should have one of these.

Ultimate kitchen helper...had been for couple of days now..works like a charm..chopping herbs,green leafy vegetables..onions, carrots,beans is super fun and finishes in a blink of an eye...I was sceptical as its mechanical than the commonly used electrical ones.I wish there was a size bigger to finish big volumes in a jiffy...cleaning of lid is a bit tricky as string cannot be made wet..and blades are razor sharp...so don't get too greedy clearing veggie pieces off them.

Handy chopper for doing onions and other veggies. Gives you fine control over the end result chunkiness unlike electric processors, which would ruin a salsa or guacamole. Fun to use too - just watch out for the sharp blades!The only 'problem' is the lid unit cannot be immersed in water to be washed. Ridiculous! The string goes all soggy and eventually breaks, and you get all kinds of food bits trapped inside. (I bought another so I have two choppers, but only one working lid pulley).But - there is a solution. If you insert a teaspoon handle into the slot on the underside, you can easily separate the two halves for easy cleaning of the part of the lid that touches the food, while leaving the top part with the handle, spring and string out of the sink. It just needs the odd wipe.Why they don't make this part of the recommended usage instructions is beyond me.

This product worked beautifully from October 2020 until last week. Firstly the outer coating of the string wrinkled up, making it it difficult to pull the string. Then the string suddenly broke away from the pulling mechanism making the product redundant. It should be noted that this product has only ever been used with a handful of strawberries and I am a 76 year old woman and not Mike Tyson. The photo which I can't transfer would show the broken string which came off at source, therefore there is no hope of fixing the product.

This is a great product. I bought a replacement for one that had broken after five years of regular use. My only issue is the delivery. It was left on my doorstep whilst I was at home. Didn't knock the door or ring the bell, just left it there for anyone passing to steal it and recorded it on their device as handed to resident. Not happy with the Amazon!

I make my own coleslaw and thanks to the reviews I decided to buy a VeggiChop. I have not regretted it. I like that you can chop as large or as small as you like. It chops carrots, cabbage, peppers, lettuce, onions (no more tears) cucumber, beetroot and even tomatoes - these are the vegetables I have chopped so far. I am really looking forward to trying out other vegetables. The unit is not large and can easily sit on my worktop out of the way. Its very easy to use and wash. It works for me because I have a weak wrist and wanted something that wasn`t complicated to use. This is perfect. One of the best items I have bought - Thanks to the reviewers who have used this unit. I would definitely recommend it. The unit is a bit expensive for the size but I think its well worth the money and you get what you pay for.

Great for the 1st year. This was my 2nd purchase, the 1st one I used to put the top part in the sink to clean. After a few months the cord frayed and snapped off very soon after. The 2nd one I was more careful, wipe cleaning the top only.These are not cheap, were both £20+ when I purchased them. But after being careful the 2nd ones cord started fraying again and snapped soon after that, it was 11 months old and used about 2 time a week. I've now bought the Ninja Pro blender for under £30. I hope it will last a hell of a lot longer.
