Amazon Basics Blackout Blind with suction cups

I decided to try this brand of blackout blind instead of the Gro company one, as there was lots of negative reviews relating to the suction parts. So I took a chance on this one, with only 7 reviews, albeit positive. I am so happy I took the gamble! Brilliant product, for a cheaper price! Blacks out our room perfectly and will be taking it on holiday with us. I like the little bag that comes with it also. Easy to put up and does the job! What more do you want!

Was fine until the weather became really hot. It made my window crack!!! It conducted the heat and made the glass expand and crack. So I'm having to pay for a new window. This happened in the nursery while the baby was asleep, under said window. Luckily it's a straight crack and it didn't shatter.

It's currently 10am on a sunny day, I've just finished a night shift and my bedroom is pitch black. Fantastic, easy to put up and none of the suction cups have come off after 3 weeks. Perfect.

I did lots of reading up reviews etc on black out blinds and I am not disappointed at all with this purchase. My daughter had been waking up with the light in her room. The blind is good quality and the suction cups do not come off the window once stuck on which I had read in other reviews of the same type product. The blind size can be altered using the velcro to different window sizes so it can be used in different rooms. There is an overlap of blind material to the sides of the suction cups so no light gets through the sides once the blind is stuck on the window 👍

What a lifesaver!We had trouble getting our 4 month old to nap in her crib during the day and I figured the light-flooded room wasn't helping matters.Since we live in rented accommodation we didn't want to spend a lot of money on fitted blinds, so this was a great alternative. Also, we will be able to fit them in our daughter's nursery once she moves into the big bed and take the blind with us when we are away for a night.The blind is very easily put up (took me less than 3 minutes, window cleaning included), stays up and does a great job blocking out light. Our bedroom can get very bright during the day but with the blind up it's cave dark.Our daughter has been napping so much better and even at night she's been sleeping through without waking up again and again.So happy with this purchase, already recommended it in one of the baby classes I go to :)

Used as a blind on a glass door, fitted well with suction cups, excellent as a blackout blind

I’m a nurse in the local hospital and I work mainly nights and being Portuguese I cannot sleep with light, even though my bedroom has wooden blinds and curtains the light still comes specially when it’s sunny, this curtains are amazing and the good thing is you can take them and put them when you need. I need to buy another ones for my daughter bedroom. Very pleased!

Really poor quality. The suction cups are forever falling out, even when I'm careful about pulling them off, and if they aren't just falling out of the ring locks they're snapping apart. I'm at least four suction cups down by now.The material blacks out sunlight well (if applied properly the room will be pitch black), but it's an absolute pain to use.
