Good camera for top of a monitor.
Works as it should. I use my laptop connected to a 27" inch monitor and when using the computer's camera, it didn't look good to be reading the screen on the side. This one goes on top of the monitor and work ok. Definition looks good, not that I need much for weekly meetings with the rest of the team. Good value/benefit. Mic works ok too, and the flip cover is very practical. Tripod with plastic threads. I didn't tried it with the webcam, but I tried to use it with a phone holder and the treaded part is too short and couldn't attach it.

Great price, good performance
Using this camera with my Mac Mini and a 24" desktop screen. Just plugged in the USB cable, and the Mini automatically installed as default camera and microphone. You might need to install in photo booth and settings for the mic, on some other Apple device.I use the camera for Zoom, Facebook IM, and other apps as needed. The video image is quite clear and crisp. Auto focus seems to work well. Some cameras are affected by LED lights, but this camera keeps a steady image. The camera is in a darker area of the room, but it adjusts well to the low light.Camera comes with a little adjustable tripod, which I find useful, but others don't. The lens cover is a cheap snap on item that will certainly break some day.So, this camera is real good for daily or casual business or personal use. It costs about half as much as similar webcams but seems to be of comparable quality. Box includes camera, USB cable (plenty long), tripod, lens cover, and tiny instruction manual. In my book this device is a real bargain.

Great webcam for the price
I must say it is an excellent choice for the price. Having tried a variety of webcams, including some of the cheaper Logitech models, the SAYLAS 2K definitely stands out in terms of quality and performance.Pros:Picture Quality: The picture quality is superb, delivering clear and sharp 2K resolution. Whether you're using it for video conferencing, streaming, or recording videos, the image clarity is impressive and far exceeds what you get with most budget webcams.Build Quality: The webcam feels sturdy and well-made, a significant upgrade from many of the flimsy alternatives in the same price range. The design is sleek and modern, fitting nicely on top of any monitor.Value for Money: At its price point, the SAYLAS 2K offers exceptional value. It performs almost as well as higher-end models, making it a great investment for those who need good quality without breaking the bank.Cons:Autofocus: The autofocus can be a bit spotty at times. While it generally works well, there are moments when it takes a second or two longer to refocus. However, this is a minor inconvenience and doesn't significantly detract from the overall user experience. In conclusion, the SAYLAS 2K Webcam is an outstanding product for its price. The superior picture quality and solid build make it a much better option than many of the cheaper Logitech models on the market. Despite the slightly finicky autofocus, it delivers excellent performance for various uses. I am very pleased with my purchase and would definitely buy it again.

Piece of junk!
Let's talk about the saylas 2K Webcam. It boasts some impressive specs: 2K/30fps, 1080P/60fps, autofocus, dual noise-cancelling microphones, a privacy cover, and even a tripod! It sounds like the perfect tool for crystal-clear streaming, seamless video calls, and generally looking like you have your life together online. I envisioned professional-looking presentations, smooth gaming streams, and never having to apologize for my blurry, potato-quality laptop camera again. The reality? This webcam is less a reliable piece of tech and more a temperamental artist who walks off stage mid-performance. Its specialty isn't high-definition video; it's high-frequency disappearing acts. From the moment I plugged it in, it was clear this wasn't going to be a stable relationship. It connects, it shows a beautiful, crisp image for approximately 37 seconds, and then... poof. Gone. Vanished into the digital ether. My face freezes on screen, my voice cuts out, and I'm left staring blankly at my monitor while the other participants in the call wonder if I've been abducted by aliens or just have incredibly unstable internet (it's the webcam, I swear!).It's like having a conversation with someone who constantly hangs up the phone mid-sentence. "So, about the quarterly proj-" click. "Could you please send me the rep-" silence. "My cat just did something amazi-" picture frozen in a distorted grimace.I've tried different USB ports. I've updated drivers. I've sacrificed a small, non-essential household item to the tech gods. Nothing works. It connects, it disconnects. It's the only consistent thing about this webcam. It's a master of the digital Houdini act.The autofocus? Great, when it's actually connected long enough to focus on something. The noise-cancelling microphones? Probably work wonders, but nobody can hear me long enough to appreciate the lack of background noise. The privacy cover? Hilarious. The webcam disconnects so often, the privacy cover is practically redundant. My privacy is guaranteed by the device's inability to maintain a connection. If you enjoy the thrill of uncertainty in your video calls, if you like keeping people on their toes wondering if you're still there, or if you just need a very expensive, very unreliable paperweight with a lens, then this is the webcam for you.In summary, the saylas 2K Webcam is a diva with a serious case of stage fright. It shows up, looks good for a moment, and then bails without explanation. It's less a streaming camera and more a blinking notification that says "User has left the meeting (again)." Buyer beware: you're not just buying a webcam, you're buying a ticket to the most frustrating game of digital hide-and-seek you've ever played.
