An electrician I follow on TikTok (Phillyqueso101) recommended these, and I had some recessed lights that I wanted to convert, mainly because the old cans allowed for some air leakage to unconditioned space above. I was swapping from 12v LED bulbs, so I hadn’t expected any change in the light output.Because these bring the LEDs to the bottom of the can, they throw the light in a much wider area than the pre-existing lights, which were limited by the positioning of the LEDs a couple inches deep in the can. The improved light spread makes the light much more even, a d more useful in our kitchen. It also makes the kitchen appear brighter.The adjustable light temperature is a nice feature too.These are one of the best inexpensive home upgrades I’ve ever made.

Can lights replacement perfect recessed light just swap my can lights for this and they look very clean and modern selectable temperature for your on choice.

These lights were very easy to install and look great. I appreciate the various brightness settings. They are perfect!

The lights look great and give an update look to the ceilings. The only reason I gave them 4 stars was due to the small trim. The narrow trim was not as large as the original cans.

I used these to replace some older, far more expensive ones because my old ones buzzed. These work fine with a dimmer switch, have a switch to select color temperature, and have a clean looking flat surface. The case material quality seems to be lower than what I had in the past, but considering that these just sit there, it shouldn't matter.Having a color temperature switch meant being able to match them to the color temperature of my under cabinet lights. It might not seem like a big deal, but once you try it you realize that it's a big improvement when all the lights are the same color temperature. The range of color temperatures was quite good.I don't know how long these will last, but they were inexpensive enough and the package came with more than I needed, so I have a few spares. If I have any problems in the future, I will update this review.

As other reviews mentioned, they are bright, clean looking, etc. But after installing them in October of 2024, one has already quit working. Thankfully I had a couple of extras so I replaced it, but am now worried that more will quit and then I'll have a mismatched mess in my ceilings. The price was right, but maybe I should have spent a bit more to get a product that included a bit of warranty time. Only 5 mos. life out of a fixture is ridiculous.*Update - I contacted the seller and they sent a replacement light promptly. Customer Srvc. is good. I just hope the failure is a fluke.
