I can't stand riding on modern narrow bike seats. I have an upgraded bike seat for my bike but this 12.7" BUCKLOS seat is even larger than mine and looked good so I thought I would give it a try. I used my stock seat mount because it's faster and easier to assemble and adjust so my review will strictly be for the seat itself, not the mounting hardware that came with it. I like the cut out in this seat, it's great for airflow and relieving pressure. This seat is really wide and also has a nice contour to it which is very comfortable to sit on and ride. The padding on top isn't as substantial as I had hoped (not as much as my current seat) but it is adequate and not uncomfortable. I like the look of this seat, the red accents really stand out. So far my only big complaint is with the "shock absorbing balls" under the rear part of the seat. In my opinion they do very little shock absorbing. I did a back to back test with this seat and then swapping back to my current seat, riding over the same path. With this seat I could feel every hit from cracks in cement, rocks, etc. My current seat has two large coil springs in place of the shock absorbing balls and the ride over rough terrain is much, much better. I do really like almost everything about this seat except the shock absorbing balls and for that reason I am sticking with my old seat (with coil springs) for now and putting this on a secondary bike. If this BUCKLOS seat had coil springs in place of the balls and a little better padding on top then I would choose it over my current seat. This is still a very nice seat and when compared to the factory seat that was originally on my bike this BUCKLOS seat would win in a landslide.

The 12.3 seat was perfect. It reduces the derrière ache resulting from using a smaller seats.This is a perfect sized seat for people with smaller derrières

Most ten speed bikes come with the standard racers trim line seat which is mostly hard on the tush. I upgraded to a seat that was the same design but the cushioning was fuller. This helped make the riding more comfortable but it didn't facilitate buttocks positioning making for uncomfortable distant ride. With this seat the weight distribution regarding the buttocks made for a more enjoyable ride even in bumpy conditions. Age may play a role in getting this device as the older you get some of us get even wider in the derrière department. I believe that the other reviews regarding this product are not worth repeating as they speak volumes as to the merits of this bike seat.

I did not expect what an amazing seat & what a difference. Replaced the seat on my Trek bike. Absolutely Love! I love biking, but am injured -- piriformis & severe osteoarthritis in hip. No Pain when I ride. I have another bike which I also replaced with an "oversized" seat. It has larger dimensions. This seat is just right for me -- not too large & not too narrow. Great support. My other oversized seat feels a bit too large compared to this. Female. 5'6" - good shape, with injuries.You may not want to come home -- just keep pedaling!Great value! Impressive Quality! This extra wide seat is exactly what I needed for my new exercise bike. The seat that came with the bike is literally painful to sit on for more than 2 minutes.I have a large butt and find this seat quite comfortable, although it still is a bike seat, so don't expect it to be a soft fluffy cushion.This seat was very easy to install and adjust to the proper position for me.I highly recommend this product!
