Meh
I liked the meatloaf but the meshed potatoes left a lot to be desired. They were a perfect slab regardless of how long I heated them. This is a decent meal for the money and so easy to “prepare”/heat. It provides sufficient meals for one person. Mine lasted me 2 meals. I added some sauerkraut as a side to my meal just because I didn’t like the potatoes.

Pretty rough
It is an MRE, make no mistake. The quality, taste, and texture are poorer than military MREs.Expensive.Small portion. It’s kosher, I gave it 2 points - kosher and packed well

Terrible Product
The only good thing I can say about this product is that it heats up very quickly. The meatloaf and gravy were terrible. It also had a bad aftertaste.

More food than promised. Long storage (three years from expiration date). Tastes decent.
When I first picked this up I thought to myself, “there’s more than 340 grams in here.” I weighed the container before and after eating to get the true weight of the food and it came out to ~395 grams – far more than promised. As an additional bonus, the expiration date was over three years out.The food itself is okay, but no one is going to think this is fresh cooked meatloaf. The flavors are fine, though you may want to add some pepper or something. The biggest issue with the meat loaf is it was very dense – it’s almost as if it was made with a meat powder rather than ground meat. The “crumb” was excessively fine. This made the texture less like meat than I wanted. Anyone without teeth would be able to eat this without issue – there is no “chew.” This didn’t make it “bad” but it was different – and clearly not a homemade meatloaf. Denseness, though, is a part of what allows them to get so much weighty food in a small container, so there’s a bonus to that. It is more filling than I anticipated before I realized how heavy the package was. The mashed potatoes are evenly spread on the bottom so you can easily get a bite of meat and mash together every time. I read through the ingredients and I’m happy enough with them.As these can be heated multiple ways, they would make great meals for camping. Individually they are pricy, but if you get a multiple pack, the deal is much better. Something to consider when ordering.

Actually kind of amazing
I know 'Amazing Meals' is just a brand name, but I am actually amazed. This is the best shelf-stable meat I've ever eaten. Now, I know what you're thinking 'Is it really that good?' Well... no. It's still just meatloaf. And it's still not that good compared to something like a frozen TV dinner. But for something that can sit on your shelf for 3 years without refrigeration, it's surprisingly decent. (This one had a 'best by' date of 3 years, 1 month from when I received it.)I don't know if I can give it a perfect score- It's kinda pricey for a fairly modest portion size, and it's not that much better than the cheaper options for similar products. I also struggled to get it open- I ended up having to cut the package open with a knife. That was a negative for my experience, but being so securely packaged could easily be a positive for some people. I can see the benefit in taking something like this hiking, confident that it's not going to leak. And the convenience of just tossing it in a pot of water to heat through without needing to watch something cook over a campfire. It exceeded my expectations for an MRE-type product, so if you're in the market for some I'd at least consider these.

Bland
The only thing good about this is it's shelf life and the fact that it is filling. It's heavy and dense and incredibly bland. This is not something I would ever choose to eat, but if it was the only thing left in the cupboard I wouldn't throw it out. If it is in your budget, it might be worth it to have on hand in case of a extended black out or to throw in a pack while camping in case of an emergency.

Gross and overpriced
This did heat up easily and pretty evenly (I let it sit a little). The peelable plastic was a bugger to get off and I had to cut it. The gravy and potatoes were ok, very heavy on the "fake meat" taste. The meatloaf was gross, I took one bite and left the rest. It was like someone took an entire load of bread and compressed it and soaked it in the fake meat gravy. Was also a little gritty in my opinion. It was enough food for one person for one meal. I think it's way overpriced for what it is but I guess it does have a long shelf life. Definitely an "emergency" item, not a quick college dinner item. Wouldn't recommend
