Finally! Great bath towels that actually absorb water!
I like towels when they get old because they absorb well. Mine have finally worn out and will be turned into rags or used on my dogs. I've held on as long as I can but they are literally falling apart.I can't stand the fluffy bath towels that look and feel fancy but don't dry you off worth a damn. I searched a long time online to find towels like these from Maura.I ordered the gray bath towels that came in a 'pack' of 4. First thing I noticed is that they were well made and heavier than I expected - good heft. I washed them in hot water and dried them on medium with wool dryer balls (I don't use fabric softeners which can interfere with absorbency). NO lint in the washer or the dryer from them. Were soft after drying. No weird shrinkage or loose strings. The gray color did not bleed.Best of all, they absorb well! I'll be ordering more. Finally found new towels that don't break the bank and are as good as my old well used and loved towels. May they rest in peace.

seems like a nice bath sheet.
I'm not sure what constitutes "rough" as some of the other reviews seem to discuss, this towel seems as fluffy as any other I've used. Perhaps that will change with several washings. The absorbancy of my sample seems like it could be a bit better, but again it's only been washed once at this point. All in all, I'm satisfied.I will say however, that the company (as many on Amazon do) sent me a kindly reminder to review their product. I actually don't mind these (I *do* tend to forget to review stuff frequently) but this one stood out to me. The friendly gentleman informed me he was founder of Maura Towels. Which normally I'd not question, but just a bit of googling shows (through info in his own email) that by all I can find Maura Towels is just a name put on towels created by Indian company Arman Textile. There's nothing inherently wrong with this, I use many Indian products every day, but there's a little something disingenuous to insinuate via an email that this is a US company "family owned". Perhaps I'm just been a bully, but I'd rather them just embrace that they're a company that's not based in China producing what seems to be a fairly high quality, high value product.

Pretty Nice for the Price
Of course they shrank a bit. That’s normal for average wash cloths. They definitely faded after a couple of washing’s as well. I guess that’s fair for average price wash cloths. Had I spent a lot of money for them, I would have returned them.

Our new favorite towels
I did a lot of research before choosing these towels. I think they are very well made. I like how absorbent they are. My partner told me to order more, because he likes them so much he didn't want them to become unavailable before we could get more.I have MS, and heavy towels are difficult for me to maneuver, especially when drying my back and my feet. These are perfect. My only complaint is that there aren't enough color options to choose from. I would have liked a soft purple or soft green, but these are OK.

Adult Male that takes good care of my skin!! 😂
Just figured I’d state since mostly ladies would review these I’m guessing? But yeah, I have a strict skin regimen with hydration, diet, in addition to the best skin care my small coins can afford to spend in this area. These towels totally SURPRISED ME HOW SOFT SOFT SOFT SOFT THEY ARE. Easily the most absorbent I’ve ever seen, along with the premium overall simple plain quality, and SIZE SIZE! These are really big, for the face, and that’s just tops them off. I never reuse a cloth so there’s plenty for me to use a couple a day between laundry! I’d never expected these to be as nice as they are for the money.

Last Choice
We bought 4 different kinds of towels, Utopia 4ea. for 29.99, Pinzon by Amazon 4ea. for 24.99, Live Comfort, 4ea. for 24.95 and Maura Premium 4ea. for 39.99. I should have figured out how to get the products free or be paid for this review, but it is on my dime...so brutally honest. Maura was the highest price and very sturdy, but we don't like the feel and drying ability of them. Live comfort was our third choice. They get the job done, but are a little light. If I had a large family and lots of washing to do, I would buy these, because 2 or 3 times as many would fit in each load. We were torn between the Utopia and Pinzon. The Pinzon were slightly larger and they both are very heavy towels that are excellent at drying us after using soft water. The Utopia and Pinzon tie would have been broken by the fact the Pinzon were 5 dollars cheaper for the set of four, however, buyer beware...prices vary greatly on Amazon. When I went back to gather facts for this review, all of the others remained the same price except the Pinzon by Amazon are now on sale for 35.77, "marked down from 39.99", according to Amazon. I bought mine on May 28th of 2019 for 24.99. If the Pinzon were available again for 24.99, I would buy them. If not, I would buy the Utopia for 29.99. I would buy the Live Comfort if I had a large family to reduce laundry loads and this is very subjective to individual taste, but we did not like the most expensive Maura Premium at all. We would not want them at half the price.

MAURA Premium Bath Towel Set 100% Cotton
Love these towels they are not plush and thick they just dry you completely. They are sturdy soft and really do the job. Washcloth is perfect size for me soft on my face but feels like it cleans.

Not Absorbent at all
This towel is the opposite of absorbent. It does not dry your body. I don't even want to give these towels away because they will be useless to anyone else. Not sure how others don't see this so a bit confused.
