Does this work with the stock headlight leveler switch?

This headlight will allow you to reuse and transfer the original headlight leveling motor. This can be completed by first removing the white cap cover by loosening the threaded rod. Once removed, this will expose the housing which will enable you to insert the leveling motor and lock it into place.

My car was equipped with factory halogens and i converted it to hid years ago. what do i need to make these work?

You might need the factory STI HID Harness to run these. And you will definitely need the 2006-2007 STI Factory Headlight Ballast. It might be possible to run them with aftermarket ballasts but these ones are made for STI’s with factory HID’s. There is versions of these that are non HID that might be easier to convert. I have an aftermarket HID kit on my 06 2.5i would this still work?

I’m gonna say no, it fits the stock ballast that comes with the STI’s that have the HID kit from factory.

Great headlights , packing is ok one headlight came with scratch on it but it’s alright

Perfect lens for the right build

These headlights fit perfectly for my 06 WRX STi. Not only that, they looked amazing! In my town, there are no car enthusiasts but this caught the eye of everyone! No water soaked through the lens or housing because the build was quality and they included everything you needed to get going by plugging in and turning on the lights, easy as that. If I didn't have to return my subie, I would've definitely kept these in. If I get another one, you best bet that I will order these before anything else! 10/10

Good product

Everything transferred over from my oem headlamps. Very straight forward, no surprises yet. For the price they are a decent replacement. My stock clear lenses were beyond saving and a new STi headlamp is quite pricy so it’s a good alternative.

So Close

A couple things to mention. I thought the install went easy, but transferring the HID there isn’t a spot to connect the ground like on the OEM unit. So, I took the little black screw holding the bulb retainer and slipped the wire under and then screwed back in the little black screw.I wasn’t able to transfer my auto levelers. I watched videos and wasn’t able to remove what came in place. So to adjust I use a 4mm headlight adjustment tool. HEADS UP. To replace the bulbs you will have to pull the headlights as it doesn’t have the twist cap in the back like the OEM. The left and right and adjusters are not easily accessible once installed.This may have been just my set of headlights but I grabbed the top tab that you bolt down and the tab snapped off. I’ve always held my headlight by that tab when maneuvering the headlight on my table. Overall it is a good buy considering cost to replace with new OEM or high end diode shop to modify, this is a great purchase. Just know what to expect. I would still recommend this to my SUBIE friends.

Packaging issue but great lights

The lights look amazing the lens were clear and prototype slick but when I was opening it the packaging seemed to have melted to the lights around the corners and stuff took me and hour to peel the plastic off and the silhouette foam stuff hopefully it didn’t ruin the deal be kinda disappointed the lights seem to work good for the most part
