It helped instantly the cooling off process for my laptop. It's quiet enough, in a way that it doesn't bother mewhile I'm concetrating on my job/reading. The only con is that when I'm placing the laptop higher from the table level via a base or a book, it cannot stand on the air for sure, but it cannot stand well either if I put it inbetween the base/book and the laptop, as the main body of it and so the weught is on the back. I have to admit though that even like that it still does the job quite well.I would recommend this, as it's a cheap and well accomplishing for the task, little gadget.

After having a nightmarish time with my laptop overheating, and having to strip it down to change the thermal paste, I felt it made sense to get an alternative cooling system, but it needed to be cheap! I have tried the 'stand' type but as I actually want to use it on my lap, I decided on this cooler. I must say that the way it attaches is a bit naff, you get several silicone sleeves, one of which should hopefully correspond to the location of the vent on your laptop. Mine is on the side so I use the pink one. It fits on the fan unit, and then you just offer it up to the vent. It has a removeable plate which attaches to the bottom of the fan unit and slips under the laptop for extra support. It doesnt actually stick to my laptop, so you need to make sure you are supporting the laptop in the right place to keep it attached. The actual fan is pretty good, seems to be doing the job at keeping my temperatures down, but it is obviously going to make some noise. If you need your laptop to be portable, it easily its in the laptop bag.

This is very, very "fidgety" to "figure-out" and use, initially, but once it is all plugged-in and functioning, it works a treat. I cannot emphasise enough how important it is not to lose the lower hard plastic part that holds it in place to your laptop, however. I lost mine for several days and it simply would not function without, constantly falling out of place. Other than that, "top-notch!" :-) My friends all want one ("oooo, what is that?..") !

Amazing product! I recently cleaned my gaming laptop for dust and it stopped overheating, however it was still getting hot with the laptop may I was using.. This works so well, it takes all the hot air out of the laptop fan and cools it down massively... However! If you use your laptop, well on your lap, then this product isn't for you, you defiantly need your computer to be resting on a flat surface so that this thing can stay flat and cool it properly, very good product 100% recommend it!

My laptops graphics card usually runs very hot so that the surrounding plastic is hot to the touch. I had been using a normal fan to blow cold air onto the cards external vent but then I saw this product. It was easy to fit and I have connected it via the supplied usb cable to my existing cooling stand as a power supply. The graphics card is now running at a much lower temperature (around 50 degrees C) and the surrounding plastic is much cooler. My only small moan would be that the unit didn't sit quite flush to the vent on my laptop and I had to but something under it to allow a better seal between the unit and the graphics card vent. Other than that I am very pleased with this product.

Does exactly what it should. Dragged my laptop from 75deg C down to 50. The silicon adapters supplied give plenty of options so will attach to most standard laptops.Downsides- it is noisy, as any fan is, so expect it. Not excessively so.For the money it will cool your laptop right down.

Works a hundred times better than the ones you put under your laptop. It keeps my laptop cool the whole day, even when it's hot outside. Love it.
