Qualitas Beeswax 6-1/2-Ounce Candle, Opopanax Scented

I don't like how this candle burns. It tunnels down the center. I bought 3 thinking I'd love them but I was very disappointed with how they burn. And for the price I paid for this 6.5 oz candle, tunneling is unacceptable.

I'm not sure why this candle was not advertised under the scent listed on the candle (myrrh) but it is a lovely smell. Qualitas candles are my favorite since they burn evenly (as long as you initially burn the candle for two hours straight). The candle has a mystical scent.

This is the fourth Qualitas candle I have purchased, and even on sale ($27.99), I regret paying what I did. I kept giving them a chance because I loved the variety of scents and that they were beeswax, but no matter how long I let them burn, they tunneled, and in an attempt to not waste all the extra wax, I've been burning them with aluminum foil around the top. It works, but I have to do it with every burn, which just doesn't look nice and shouldn't happen at this price point. I realize that any candle will tunnel if burned improperly, but I've never had this issue before.

My wife loves collecting candles but she stopped buying all other brands when I bought her our very first Qualitas candle. These are top notch quality candles that burn for a really long time and the scent is strong but not over powering so it fills the house with a lingering, lovely aroma. We particularly love the Black currant and Grapefruit, but we also adore the woody range that evokes the memory of a walk in the woods or winter evening by the fire place.

I was very impressed with the quality of Qualitas candles. I love burning candles but was always disappointed in how short most grocery store candles lasted and smelled.My experience was the Qualitas candles lasted much longer and threw off a very pleasant scent.I an not a candle expert just someone who enjoys the ambience a candle can create. I was very happy!
