Sony X900E 75in 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV Motionflow XR 960 XBR-75X900E 2017 Model (Renewed)

Excellent TV when it works properly. Within 24 hours of setting the tv up, I had issues with the picture (See attached image). It's possible that it's because it's refurbished but it seems to be somewhat of a common issue. Once the problem starts, it progressively gets worse and affects all inputs including the built in apps. Apparently there can be a problem with the image processor. The work around is turning the TV off and back on (power cycle). Once you do that, the problem goes away for that viewing session.There are two other problems I experience that don't seem to be common. One of the problems seems to be exclusive to Amazon video but I'll get audio popping or drop out periodically. I am using optical out to a surround sound system. Never experienced that problem using the tv speakers. Last issue is sometimes I'll need to let the TV sit for a minute or two before using any internet based content (YouTube, Amazon, Netflix). When I try using the apps quickly after turning the TV on, I'll get error connection issues.I'm planning on returning the TV in hopes of getting it replaced with a completely functioning TV or if Secondipity get's the Sony X930e in stock, I'll be buying that TV instead.All in all I completely recommend the x900e IF, the tv functions as expected.

This TV has great picture quality. The sound is good also. I am a first time smart tv user and I am amazed at what all this television does. I have not had it but month, and I have not had any issues thus far. It was a refurbished tv and I can not tell the difference. It was delivered on time as promised. I gave it a 4 because the remote control was used and you could tell some of the numbers show sign of usage.. I did purchase the extended warranty.

Lot of recommendations for his tv on reddit. Picture is fantastic. Tv is stunning. Now I docked one star because when there are really black scenes and I’m watching the tv at night with lights out I can really see some big grey washed areas on the screen. I looked online on what I could do but I’m scared to try some techniques. I’m unsure if I want to return for another tv because it’s always a gamble with refurbished products. May call Sony to see what they say.

It's a risk when buying a refurbished TV, but unfortunately for me this time television was dead on arrival. TV turns off after 30 seconds of activity and then flashes a red LED 7 times. I called Sony to try and diagnose the issue, they told me that the previous owner (via serial number) had returned the TV for the same issue. It appears that whatever attempt at fixing this issue the technicians did, it did not work this time. Will update review based on how smoothly the return/replacement goes.For the 30 seconds it's on however it looks great, very bright TV; I can see it perfectly in a room with lots of windows in the summer. Very sharp image, vivid colours. If you can get it working, it is a great purchase

I was going to buy a TCL P607 and had a change of heart at the last minute after seing this deal on amazon. The price was just great for a tv that is among the top recomended on so many respectable sites like rtings.com.I have been using the tv for the past one month, and i can confidently say, if you are viewing in brightly lit rooms instead of pitch black, there is so little difference with the OLED's from LG and sony.To sum up, sony made a stunning piece of hardware.

I'm pleased with the Sony 65X900E purchase. Cosmetically, there was no indication that the TV was anything but brand new when unboxed. There were no fingerprints, scratches or signs of use/misuse anywhere. None of the screws had signs of being removed. The manuals, remote and screws were still in Sony factory-sealed packages. The TV started without a hitch, has a gorgeous picture and has been running flawlessly for over a week.

Great TV. Works and looks brand new. Shipping was a little snow and they had to schedule the delivery 3 times. Still worth it saving $350 off the new list price for this TV.

Out of the box, unit had vertical LCD band line on right hand of screen. I initially thought it was a setting issue, so I tried to adjust picture settings, aspect ratios, etc. to no avail. I even tried factory reset and updating software of unit... didn't help. I noticed it was on all inputs, including the HOME SCREEN which I then realized it was a dreaded band line typical of bad LCD tv's and monitors. I am IT at a local College and this unfortunately is a very familiar defect of this type of interface after handling thousands of LCD monitors over the past 20 years. The obvious vertical black line is approximately a half inch thick, which can't be missed by a novice, let alone an expert tech. Very disappointing since I have had success in the past with Certified Refurb electronics at work and at home. What is odd is that this is an obvious defect, which leads me to believe that the item was never actually "Certified Refurbished" or checked by a technician.
