Ideal inflatable bed for a child.
We purchased this air mattress for our granddaughters to use at night in our touring caravan, as it has separate inflation chambers for the body and pillow sections of the mattress. If the pillow section is not inflated and a standard pillow placed on top of the mattress, it makes a super inflatable children's bed for the limited space available in our 'van. We have previously purchased children's inflatable beds for the 'van, but they have been made from PVC/plastic and have punctured/deflated after a short term of use. This bed is made from rubberised fabric and is much more robust in structure. We have recently returned from a week away with our youngest granddaughter (aged 3) and she slept soundly every night.NB:_ We regret to say, that following a further 7 nights use of this product in our caravan by our 7 year old granddaughter, the mattress has started to deflate on a nightly basis. The manufacturer states that 25% deflation on a daily basis is normal, our experience is nearly complete deflation. There is no obvious sign of damage to the product and it has certainly not been subjected to abuse in any form. Inflation has been by an electric air pump, designed for this purpose. In view of these problems, we intend to purchase a piece of foam to make the bed and forget about using air mattresses for this purpose. For price comparison, we have been quoted ÂŁ31 for an equivalent foam mattress, compared to the ÂŁ29 we paid for this air mattress. Hopefully it will last longer than 14 nights!

Longer lasting than any other airbed.
Couldn't find these anywhere (Argos stopped doing them a while back). But searched "air mattress" instead of "air bed" or "lilo" and bingo!Have had one of these since 2011 and it's still going strong! I've had to replace about half dozen (at least!) other airbeds since then (usually about 1 per year). So really happy that these are still around.Only downsides are :1. This is slightly narrower and shorter than some similar priced air beds.2. Maybe not quite as comfy.3. The surface isn't flocked and therefore not as nice (but a just put a blanket over it!But outweighing all the above is the fact that this design is much more durable! Would've given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the above (picky admittedly) comments and that fact that I haven't actually tried this one out yet (but I have high hopes).

Top class, best in class👌
Great quality with nice thick material, i seem to remember the material of these types of beds being thicker when i was a kid, it will never rip or let you down tho! packs down smaller than the “self inflating” garbage you can get, and will last ten times as long! A little heaver but thats ok given the quality and comfort of the bed...i ordered a single, being a big guy they still have absolutly nailed the size to a T!Best air bed on the market for any hobby barr none! Hiking/Wild camping, normal camping, for the home...etc

Fabric poor
Used for few weeks - fabric rotting - little holes everywhere.

Robust and comfortable
A very robust inflatable mattress. Unlike the cheap flocked vinyl offerings, intended, I suspect, to last for a couple of uses only, this is one that will last you a few years of camping. Easy to inflate, the pillow has a separate bung, so you can inflate the bed and pillow to different firmness, should you desire. This is stable to sleep on and very comfortable. It does have a strong rubber smell when first opened and used, but that does wear off after a few days. If this bothers you, inflate and leave for a few days before your trip.

One of better air beds that you can buy these day (That,s what a thought )
One of better air beds that you can buy these day,s. My only complain is I wish I bought the double air bed. Much for comfortable than a single. In a word a Very good product & highly recommended. Replace the plastic ties for the plugs with cord. With that said the first time I used this air bed the pillow part burst with a 6 inch long hole. So I just bought a static canvas camp bed.
