Cross (The Dark Kingdom Book 4)

The dark kings never disappoint!Every king powerful and more protective..Cross was exactly what I wanted and I enjoyed reading every single page.Chemistry was like a live wire and it practically burned me through out.I enjoyed the back and forth between the characters and I can't wait to read Bones!Good book.

Cross & Alexa's storyCross is fire. Alexa is strong, fierce, independent and naive when it comes to Kingdom. Their relationship started as a secret fling but it turned out to be more. Though I wish the book showed more development in their relationship but never the less I enjoyed Cross. However, the sex between these two were🔥 and holy molly Cross has a piercing down there😉By far my favourite order of Dark King Series is Titan, Cross then Grave but I have feeling Bones will make his way to the first position and I am so excited for Nite and Jasmine too.

There are books you read and move on and then comes books like this which stays with you for eternity... Cross and Alexa have imprinted on my mind and soul forever. ❤️🔥Just Reading that prologue was enough for me to know in my soul that this would be one of memorable read for me.Cross and Alexa have always played between the line of forbiddeness but one night changed everything for them...now after that one taste, Cross can't take a step back and neither can she. And the trouble of hiding this secrets keep getting dangerous.Swinging of a pendulum...that's what my feelings were like while reading...once I get a little relax...the script changes and we get to the extreme part with so many overwhelming emotions and non stop tears.As always, the Kings managed to deliver every bit of Violence and action packed plot that my dark heart craved... and the hot romance with a slow building connection was well written.Desperately waiting for BONES to get his book and who will be the girl to bring this King to his knees?!!

An intense plot with intense characters and an amazing dark romance. Shantel Tessier is an amazing writer and has literally become one of my favourite, when it comes to dark romance. She has an ability to write complex characters and then carry them off well.With this book, I met the most twisted, complex and dark character I have ever read about. Cross is not for the faint of heart, he is brutal, fierce and messed up. What he is today is a result of his past and he is unapologetic about who he is and what he does. He doesn't care about what people would think or how to please others. He is someone that you would love and fear at the same time.Alexa on the other hand, is somewhat a very mild character. She is strong, independent and has been in very messed up relationships. She sort of is a milder version of Cross and way to naive sometimes. But she is lovable.Coming to the story, some things that I loved about it was the cast of characters and how complex they are. Secondly the romance between Cross and Alexa. Thirdly, the manner in which the entire story unfolds. Some thing that I found a little odd was, one that every character seems to have green eyes (just an observation, this doesn't affect my rating), the other things was the manner in which the suspense was handled in the story. For me, the ending wasn't satisfactory. It sort of felt too rushed and some how everything unfolded in a very hap-hazard manner.However, I read the entire book in a day, that just shows how good everything in this book is. I loved the book, and would love to recommend it to all the dark romance lovers out there.

Again a great book! And then there was one! The family is growing at a fast rate! I was happy to still get to read about April and Grave cause they are favourite but was so sad about some of the things that happened. But still, I liked Cross and Alexa too and I am glad that things turned out alright.The next one is Bones and I’m starting it right now! With everything leading to his own story I think it’s gonna be 🔥This story is part of a series where all the major characters get there own book and HEA. BUT, I have been looking for Silent Nite, the last book (6th) that should have come out long ago, and I am very disappointed to say that I don’t think it was written… i can’t believe that it’s been promoted for so long and it didn’t come out after the last book of the series in 2022. After 5 books in this series, I was getting attached to does characters and feel abandoned in the end…I’m a sucker for reading series and when it’s left with no ending 😱😡I have to lower my reviews a little of the whole series.

Shantel books just get better and better with every book. I can’t wait to read bones. Cross and Alexa’s relationship is so sweet.

Honestly you can't go wrong with shantels books !! I loved all the turns the book took and can't wait for bones !!

Loved this series and all the characters you have to read and see who you fall in love with mine i think is Titan with Bones a close second.

Another great read by the queen Shantel! I love how her series keeps all the characters throughout the books but you get to see the darker sides of the main characters. Cross is probably a favorite of the Dark Kingdom! You can’t go wrong reading a book of Shantel’s. Check your triggers though! She definitely writes the darker side of things but that’s what I love! Do I need therapy? Yep but oh well!
