Very vague instructions, all bags open and screws missing.

I needed to replace one of the hinges from my uPVC French doors as it had a hairline crack from being allowed to swing open in the wind. I am not a DIY sort of person but I saw this and thought I would be able to fit it myself. I had looked at a couple of cheaper options but I was not sure if the quality would be good enough for such a heavy item as my door. So I decided to get this one as a replacement because it looked like a very good replacement. When I received it I was very impressed with the weight and quality it was very well made and of good quality materials. It was a fraction smaller than the original but you really wouldn’t notice it once it was fitted. It came with some instructions which was helpful and also protective covering that you only remove after it is fitted. It also came with some fixings which I hadn’t thought of when ordering but I suppose I could have used the old ones but I think it is nice that you use new fixings and gives more confidence about it lasting. My advice would be that even if you don’t think you need to replace any of the hinges on your front or back door I would recommend that you check them because I only noticed that one of mine was damaged because I was cleaning them and was up close enough to see the hairline crack on it. Of course replacing something like a hinge isn’t something you would notice but it’s a far better thing to check regularly rather than find out too late and then have to replace the door itself. I am really impressed with the quality and workmanship for this price and piece of mind..
