Good quality toilet seat
This is a good quality toilet seat. For some reason the standard size toilet seats don't fit my toilet so this adjustable seat is perfect. I had a professional plumber fix it on to the toilet and he did a really good job of fixing it on properly. I noticed that the soft close does gradually disappear, but I've found this the same on all loo seats. All in all, this is a stylish toilet seat and if fitted by a competent plumber, it stays in place and works really well.

Nice Upgrade but not perfect
Nice Upgrade, But Not PerfectI recently replaced my old toilet seat with this soft-close model. While it's definitely quieter and more modern-looking, there are a few things to keep in mind.First, the soft-close feature works well most of the time, but occasionally it seems to hesitate or close unevenly—maybe a manufacturing quirk. Installation was fairly easy, but the instructions could’ve been clearer (a few vague diagrams, nothing labeled). The seat itself is comfortable, but it feels a bit lighter and more flexible than I expected—especially for the price. Time will tell how durable it really is.Overall, it’s a solid improvement over a standard seat, but I wouldn’t say it’s flawless. Worth it if you’re looking for quieter operation and a sleeker look, but double-check sizing and expect a few minor quirks.

No good.
I'm really surprised by the reviews for this as my experience with it has been awful. It lasted barely a year before needing to be changed. Issues were:It chipped revealing the mdf inner and moisture could get in.One of the plastic raisers came off.Sticky pads don't work very long or stand up to cleaning around them. Any moisture and they come away.Difficult to get a secure fit with the fixings provided which are basically just nuts and bolts. Much better to buy a seat with the expanding fittings. The chrome areas didn't stay nice long at all and discoloured quickly. Was a fiddle to fit.For the price this was a total waste of time.

Looks Really good
A very sturdy loo seat. My old one used to dip inward when sat on .... not this one! Very easy to fit. I did it all by myself ...... followed the instructions to the letter & it all fell into place (pun not intended 😉). Would recommend this product. Happy customer.

Excellent value for excellent product.
Just what I needed to replace an old seat to match the rest of the bathroom furniture. The price was much more competitive than from my bathroom fitter for exactly the same product. A good weight and comfortable, with the added advantage of quick fit fixing and gentle drop. Am very pleased.

Almost perfect. Remember the thickness!
Looks great - only a few soft-close wooden loo seats of this style available and usually they're just slightly too short from front to back.Only thing I didn't account for was the thickness of the seat and lid together which is almost double that of my old plastic seat. That means that the lid doesn't quite tilt back all the way until it knocks into the cistern. This is not something that I could test *before* I took the plastic off... and after the plastic is off, you can't return :(It still works but only just - the lid sort of teeters worryingly around the vertical point! It also made installation a bit tricky. Just something to be aware of!Only other complaint is that after only 2 weeks, the soft-close lost some of its strength and now it closes mostly softly then falls down the last inch or so. Again, not too bad but wish it didn't do that... especially for the money.Otherwise, happy, and it sure looks nicer than the old plastic one.
