If you need both Composite and Component inputs, this one won't work
The TV has good picture and good sound and it fits in a specific small area that I have for it. As with all electronics these days, documentation is sparse and setup with a cable box can be difficult as the TV tries to automatically find channels. You must recognize the 'Home' button on the remote. It looks something like a house. That is where you need to go to select various inputs (HDMI, etc). Regarding inputs, the website indicates that the TV has both Composite (VCR) and Component (DVD) inputs. What is doesn't tell you is that they use the same inputs on the TV. You can choose one or the other hookup. So, if you have DVD/VHS combo box like I do, you have to manually rewire the connections in the back to switch between DVD and VHS.

A Rare Find
Looked all over for a good quality, reasonably priced 28” TV and found it in this LG model. Even came with (2) 6ft. HDMI cables, surge protector and screen cleaning kit. Not a smart TV but really didn’t want one for my 87 yr. old mother to get confused with. Work great with a digital antenna or cable source for a great 720 or 1080 picture. Sound is okay but gets loud and clear enough for older ears. Easy to set up and remote has a logical layout.

Lacks many features, as do all the other brands of 24-28" TV's.Could not get the picture to fill the screen using HDMI Input.Had to route the signal through the Tuner which reduces Picture quality.Don't know why no one makes a full featured small screen TV.

Basic TV for the money.
Thumbs up: Great picture, sufficient component connections but no 3.5mm headphone connection; Thumbs down: Sound quality is low (sound is very 'tinny').Durability unknown.

Solid tv for casual use
Picture and quality of sound are acceptable. Use TV when in spare room when relaxing and enjoy the vivid, clear picture. Good investment.

Can't go wrong with this 28" TV
The LG TV works beautifully ... sharp picture with vibrant colors. And it was very simple to set up.
