I love this ice pack so much!I have given this as a gift a couple of times and each person has loved it!Probably not recommended use or maybe not safe, but when my neck is in extreme pain, I sleep on this ice pack. It helps so much!

I am a therapy tool junkie. I try everything that comes my way that can help with my chronic neck and shoulder pain. This wrap is hands down the best one I've ever had. We now own three. One for my husband, me, and another one that I heated too long in the microwave and now smells too funky to use around my neck, but I still use under the covers if my knee or lower back bothers me. I even use this wrap around my head sometimes (along my jaw and across the top), if I'm having a bad headache. The heat and the weight of it is very soothing. Sometimes if I'm having trouble sleeping I'll lay it across my chest and put my hands on it. It is very relaxing and comforting. If any of my review speaks to you, then don't hesitate to buy it. It will be a beneficial tool to have.

As shown in the picture, there are so few warming beads in this, and they all shift around. The neck part has an opening to the shoulder part so all the beads spill to the bottom so there is no warmth in the neck. The gray covering is soft and has potential, but the warming bead insert needs serious work!

I suffer from chronic back, neck and shoulder pain and the Brookstone heating pad has been my go-to for years. After my last one finally gave up, I bought this one as a replacement. The shoe of it is perfect for me, hitting all the necessary areas with enough flexibility to move it to where I need it most. I was surprised to find that unlike the earlier model, you need to take the inside out to microwave it, then attempt to wedge the (very hot) pack back into the (incredibly soft) casing. This isn’t the easiest process, though it might make the product last longer with fewer Mac and Cheese stains on the outer cover. I also wasn’t as big of a fan of the smell on this one. I’m picky about scents and don’t love how this one smells. That said, I’ll continue to use it since it’s still the most effective heating pad I’ve found.

I workout a ton so my neck tends get sore and this is perfect to heat up and wrap it around your neck for the pain. It’s also very long in the back so you can wrap it around your head and ears- which I do when I have a bad headache! It’s also good for cramps ladies! The only thing I would watch out for is the time you put it in the microwave! I would suggest no more than 3 minutes. The last one I had busted open- (I did have it for over a year and it gave me tons of uses.) Definitely worth it

This is a great idea and would have been so comfortable and soothing - but it cannot be washed, so I returned it. Have purchased the Sonoma brand neck “horseshoe” shaped ones which work very well - and can be washed.

My neck was killing me one night during a card game at a friend's house. Just very stiff and sore. My friend's wife put one of these in the microwave and plopped it on my shoulders. Almost instantly I started feeling better and asked her exactly what it was so I could get the same thing. Ordered this late that same evening when I got home.It holds heat well for a long while and smells great. I will say this - probably shouldn't have it on when you're eating. The smell is very strong and can actually make it seem like your food tastes different. I was wearing it quite often for several days before my soreness fully went away and I came to realize I had to raise my monitors at work for it to stop hurting completely (clearly that was the problem, I'd moved to a new desk and my new chair rested higher so I was looking more downward at them).Highly recommended for neck/high upper back and shoulder pain. Soothing, warming, relaxing.

I just received this item today, i have used it for the past 2 hours straight. It fits the majority of the pain i have perfect. The design was well thought out, the heat starts gradually gets warmer, it feels amazing. The speeds are perfect for the different levels of pain in certain spots. This product HAS ARM HOLDERS!!! It makes it sooo easy if you have a hard time lifting your arms or they get fatigued easily. It also helps having arm rests built in for different pressure points as well, you can control it by moving from forearm to hands easily. I don’t know the lifespan on this item yet, i can see It’s a nicely made product and durable for what it’s intended to be used for. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to get a deep massage without the cost of a massage therapist. Also those looking to get relief in between the massage therapy session.
