UPDATE: I received a replacement product with a black filler that matches the color of the sleeve. The replacement product looks much better and, as with the original door draft stopper that was shipped, is fairly easy to install and is effective in blocking light coming in through the crack of a too-short apartment door, which was my primary concern. This Seller's customer support has been excellent for me, as they have been attentive, responsive, generous and efficient in responding to my concerns.The principle behind this item is clear. Design makes sense, and installation should not be difficult for most people. However, I'm not good with my hands, and also not good with measuring or cutting—especially with drugstore scissors— so for me installation felt like a two-man job. Part of the issue for me was that my apartment door doesn't stay open on its own, so I had to hold the door open while trying to install the elastic band. Otherwise, once installed, the product fit snugly and blocked the ridiculous gap at the bottom of my apartment's door. This product comes in different sizes, so measure the width of the door, depth of the door and height of gap before ordering so you get the right size for your needs. This product should some in a variety of colors—or at least some neutral options instead of just black so it's generally more decor-friendly—and It would be nice if the foam filler that goes into the vinyl sleeve were the same color as the sleeve instead of just white, because where the ends of the door sweep are going to show, it's going to look tacky. Otherwise, this product is better than some I've had experience with, and is a decent value for the listed price of $12.99 (as of this writing).Additionally, since this item was a replacement for a previous unfortunate purchase (a different draft stopper), the vendor shipped on February 13, apparently by way of AmazonLLogistics, and the product was delivered on February 14, as promised.

Amazing customer service, and very good product. Was looking for something with no adhesives / no fuss / easily removable and this was just the product! You don't even need to necessarily use the strap, you can just slide in the thin side into the door whenever it's cold or want to keep the bugs out.
