Delicious! Compared to regular balsamic (i.e Pompeian), L'Oro Del Sud is much more richer. When you put it in a glass, it has legs similar to good red wine.

I’ve wanted to make my own balsamic date vinegar glaze for some time now. But it gets expensive. I decided to give this bulk version a try. This is a nice, rich balsamic vinegar for about half the price of others of this quality. I’ve now made date and prune balsamic glazes which are as good as what I was buying in specialty stores.I was warned by other reviewers that opening the jar could be challenging. I used one of those silicone “grabbers” to grip the cap. That worked well. I’m pouring it into a slow cooker with a wide opening so it was pretty easy. Just take your time doing it. If you want to put it into smaller bottles. I recommend pouring it into a large vessel and using a ladle and a funnel to transfer it.Date or Prune Balsamic glaze recipe: 2 cups balsamic vinegar, 2 cups red wine, 200g dates and / or prunes, 1/4 cup honey. Cook overnight on low (I cover the lid with an old kitchen towel). In the morning, remove the towel and slide the cover off so about an inch or two of space can allow the liquid to cook down. Turn the heat to high and cook for 1-2 hours more until it just coats the back of a spoon. Strain, reserving the pulp. That pulp is delicious on toast or mixed in yogurt. Your welcome. 😊

The vinegar tastes good The "lees" evoke the quality of the product. Where I live one simply can't find it in bulk. Pretty much by myself I'll use the five liters in half a year, so it's a good deal. This is my second order.

Their Gold Balsmic vinegar is a must on all my salads and cooking. It is very flavorful and 8 year age. I never thought I could buy such a large quaitiy of such a good vinigar. I am sure glad I found it on Amazon exspecialy for the price.

Very good balsamic vinegar.

I've been buying my balsamic vinegar from the grocery store. I thought it was pretty good and very inexpensive. I use it everyday. But then I wondered if there was a higher quality available so I checked Amazon and found this.All I can say is it's delicious and well worth it. It's a bit sweeter, which I enjoy, and it's full of flavor.My only negative comment is the packaging. There really isn't a pour spout to pour into a more manageable bottle or dispenser. You want to do it over a sink as it will heavily drip as you pour, which is wasteful.But I still give it 5 stars because it's delicious.

To light and taste is to acid, not the regular taste of modela vinegar. Not good for salads, only cooking
