Brilliant for thick hair

The scrunchie lacked softness and elasticity.

Nice pink satin scrunchy, but I don't find it good value. This scrunchy is smooth and the satin weave reduces damage on hair, ensuring a comfortable hold. However, priced at £5.00 with no specified material, it falls short. I prefer mulberry silk scrunchies, which are better in material and can be bought at a similar price, so this simply isn't appealing from a value perspective. Also, there is a big brand tag that's quite annoying attached to it.This scrunchy is by no means bad, but there are better option.

I like using satin scrunchies in my hair to avoid the pulls that happen with ponytail holders/elastic bands. This is the best fabric to have in contact with hair to prevent tangles and damage. This is a very nice satin scrunchy in pink colour. The satin is soft and high quality and the scrunchies work well.For reference, I have shoulder-length, thin hair so it is a little tight if looped 3 times but not tight enough if looped twice. However, it is amazing for a "messy bun" because it holds very gently and is so delicate on hair. The scrunchy has done a great job at holding up my hair during the day.Overall, this is a nice satin scrunchy, reasonably priced and it would be great as a stocking filler. Very highly recommended!

This is a nice scrunchie although the elastic is a little different than I’m used to. The scrunchie itself comes in a plastic bag keeping it clean. It has the label ‘Hairburst’ sewn onto the scrunchie, but this didn’t bother me and I have to say that I actually really love the colour. The soft satin feel of the scrunchie is lovely, it really has a super soft feel and I do like my scrunchies to be softer and more satin-like than with rougher material as it does make it more comfortable to fit onto my hair without snagging (as the description suggests).The scruchie does have a different type of elastic inside it though. I’m used to scrunchies coming with rubber bands or those very thin hair bands that have that metal ball bit at the end. This scrunchie feels like it doesn’t have those inside and instead has a very stiff and thicker than usual band of material elastic inside. The width of the band is what’s most notable when you first feel this scrunchie, and when you pull on the elastic to widen it, it’s very stiff, stiffer than anything I’ve ever felt on a scrunchie before. Despite this it does work at staying in place and is still easy to put on, though you just have to get used to the fact it’s stiffer than most other scrunchies.After wearing the scrunchie for a whole day, the next day I did notice that the elastic inside which was once a wider elastic has now sort or turned over/twisted itself inside so it feels more rope-like and less like a wide flat thing. This doesn’t make the scrunchie any harder to use or wear, it’s just an observation.Overall I do like this scrunchie, the colours and feel to the soft fabric it comes in are lovely. The elastic is a bit weird and not the best in my opinion (I prefer something a little looser/less stiff and less wide) but it still does the job (in fact I’m wearing it right now typing up this review) so I’m not marking this down too much.

This scrunchie is a gorgeous dusky pink colour, not too girly, and has a lovely, soft feel.I have medium-length quite thick hair and was concerned that this scrunchie would be too baggy and not elastic enough to hold my hair; I normally avoid scrunchies and use plain but thick hair bobbles instead.However, this hair scrunchie holds my hair beautifully! It feels good to wear and looks great. I can feel that the elastic inside the fabric is quite thick, which is probably why it is working for me.I kept it in all day and it did not slip or pull. Very happy!

Did not like this at all, does not stretch, elastic is very bad. Threw it in the bin.

This scrunchie is just not very good. The elastic inside is small and not stretchy at all so I can only loop the crunchy around my hair twice and even then it feels too tight on my hair. I have finer hair so it definatly wouldn't be 'gentle on thick hair'.The srunchy itself is thin making it look on the cheeper side and I just dont see why anyone would want a scrunchy with a very visible logo tag sticking out of it.Honeslty disapointed in this scrucnhie as I have gotten a lot nicer scrunchies for cheaper.
