Leaks from exhaust valve in such a way that air is inhaled from directly outside without going through filter. See photos of bad one way valve. Glad I checked thoroughly, this kind of failure could be VERY DANGEROUS. Check yours for seal before use. Cover filter intake with hand and no air should come in when inhaling. Cheap mask but it’s otherwise a nice form factor (works under helmet or hard hat) and comfortable so I’m disappointed I have to return it. I will update if the seller makes this right or I get a replacement that functions correctly.

This is a very well made face respirator. My only "heads up" would be that when you have the cylindrical filter canister attached to the mask, it makes it a little heavy on the face but as long as you have a clean shaven face, it seals to your face well and you won't smell anything, regardless of whatever you are wearing it for. You won't smoke chlorine, feces, or just general filth as long as it is properly secured to your face. I also like that it's easily adjustable and offers the option of using one &/or two different kinds of filters at the same time. For the money, it is well worth it. I would definitely buy again.

This full-face respirator mask looks to offer efficient protection against various airborne particles and chemicals. The comfortable sealing provided by the soft silicone is a definite plus, and the anti-fog lens with the double suction valve seems like a practical feature. I particularly like the stable design with the 5-point adjustable headband and mesh structure. While I haven't had a chance to use it in a hazardous environment yet, it appears well-suited for a wide range of applications. It a great product… works great & fits just right

Directions are easy to follow in setting up the mask properly. I used the mask the other day, taking off old enamel from an antique door. No fumes came through at all. I like that the eyes are covered as well.
