Exactly what I would expect for $230
I was surprised at how quickly the chair arrived after I ordered it. Arrived after 2 days but was promised in 5. Under promise over deliver? The box was badly mangled. I was concerned that the chair might have sustained damage but it was very well packaged and the chair has no visible damage at all.Assembly was super easy. I don't know how anyone messed up the arms. There's literaly a sticker on the arms to identify right from left. How anyone then installed the arms backwards is beyond me. Seems really obvious to me.The fake leather looks nice enough and is comfortable. We chose the blue and it looks pretty good. Actually, the chair really looks good in our living room - it looks better than a $230 chair. But then when you sit on it you might realize that it is in fact a lower end chair. Maybe. I find it very comfortable. I am 5'10" and 170lbs, this chair works really well for me.This is a smaller chair so I don't recommend it for anyone over 200 lbs, especially if you have a wide backside. Others have complained that there is insufficient padding. I have a skinny backside and I find the padding to be more than adequate. I have never understood how people with substantially well padded backsides find chairs too hard. I don't think the leg rest will hold up larger legs and I don't believe that the chair will survive long under too much weight. If you have mobility issues you may not be able to get up out of the chair either. It does sit lower. My only complaint is that the swivel feels really cheap. REALLY CHEAP. It is not smooth at all.Ultimately I am happy with the chair. It satisfies the need we had for a smaller chair that swivelled. It looks good. And the chair is well priced for what you get.

Initial Impression
Back story, My wife's side of RV theatre seating is $1000.00 to replace just one side. Bought this to see if it would be a satisfactory substitute. Assembly is straight forward with pictures. Just assemble by the numbers and it's pretty simple. It's lower to the ground than a conventional type of household recliner, not an issue for me. I'm 6'4" @ 270 and can sit in it with comfort. The recline angle can be set and locked into place with large locking turn knobs. The footrest holds my leg weight and is easily pushed down and locks easily in lowered position. The arm rest are a little lower down for my liking, but are fine, nonetheless. CAN'T SPEAK TO DURABILITY, if it holds up to our next long-term travel in the trailer, it would well be worth what we paid.

Cheap, terrible, grinding, ratcheting
The chair as others have mentioned is for shorter people. I knew that when I purchased it. What I didn't know was that it has a grinding/grating noise as it swivels (with much effort). Also after pushing for 20 seconds, when I finally got it to lean back a bit, it emitted a groaning, jerking, crack for each level that it reclined. I would not wish for anyone to sit in this chair.

Moderate Quality "overpriced"
Chair is moderate in size. 6ft and over will be uncomfortable. Chair rotates on a thin plastic base. Don't expect it to last long. Reclining mechanism is mediocre and required adjustments out of the box.Overall, the Chair looks good, will serve its purpose as an EXTRA chair and the color may last without fading.

You get what you pay for
I wanted one of these chairs. The ones I wanted at my local furniture store were over $1500. So for the price I gave this a 5-star. I read reviews and considered others complaints before buying. I am not disappointed but should confirm some of them. This is a small chair. I am 6’-185. If you are any bigger you will not like it. It is low to the ground.(my butt is about 15” off the ground in it). My feet hang well off the end of the footrest. That being said I’m am comfortable watching tv and can take a nap if needed. It is perfect for an apt.,rv or cabin. Let me cover one more complaint. The arm rests are hard to assemble. Really? There are 2 screws on each side. They are labeled L & R. L stands for left, you know the hand your wedding rig is on. Hope this helps.
