We took three of these on a Cub Scout camping trip and they were very handy for going on hikes. They don’t hold a ton of water but for a 5 - 10 mile hike they were fine. They are fairly easy to fill but make extra sure that the cap is screwed on tight or it will leak.There is a pouch for some additional storage alongside the water bladder that is good for a poncho or some snacks but not much else. The zipper works great but don’t hang anything off of it or it will unzip and the contents will spill out (we learned this the hard way).The biggest criticism is probably cleaning as we ran water through it when we got home and drained it, it still took a long time to dry. Make sure it dries completely before storing it away.Overall they were pretty handy especially with young kids that tend to leave their water bottles behind.

Really like this hydration bag! Esp size wise, it’s exactly what I needed. It’s holds water bag separately in the main compartment and keeps cool for several hours. You have space to keep wallet/phone a few light snacks like trail mixes or snack bars, Keys, small 1oz bottle of sunscreen, I also bring along a battery pack. There’s also side pockets I keep sanitizer, lip balm and small bandages.I also hook on my portable Bluetooth speaker.It’s perfect for a nice moderate hike. So you are not carrying around a bulky bag. Good support, has a chest strap and fits snug on your body and doesn’t move around. I’m very happy with this buy!Initially when I received this bag pack it came defected somehow with the front chest strap buckle broken, I contacted the seller and they had amazing customer service and immediately took care by sending me another backpack. This time in perfect condition. I am glad to buy this bag from a seller who responds promptly and helped out! Thanks!

This unit serves it purpose- it holds water and dispenses it through the tube as required. The price can't be beat for the backpack AND a functional bladder. I also like the option to route the drinking hose over either shoulder.I had to work the bite valve a bit to get the slit to fully open, but it was no big deal, as I was aware of this after reading the other reviews.Good unit for a great price!Its a bit tricky to dry the bladder after use, but that is true of almost all of these types of kits.

I have another sport bag for dirt biking so when I bought this I expected the same awesomeness. This one comes with this plastic cap that's not easy to put on and take off to cover the nipple. Then the nipple is a On/off valve not like a nipple you can suck out the water.So basically while your riding your bike let's say and you wanna get some water. You might use your mouth to pull off the nipple (cause your riding) and it snaps on your lips. Then you finger the valve open which isn't smooth. Then it's like never ending water trying to escape. So while it's in your mouth you close it up. And you let it dangle then it drips all out while you give up on trying to put the rubber cap back on.Besides that i mean it's $15. And you can fit like a liter or water in it.

This looked like a nice bag, but I ended up returning this before ever using it. The bag looked well-constructed and it would work great if you're solely looking for a hydration pack, not looking to store much of anything in the pack. We also have a Teton water pack, but I'd ordered this for a second water pack to split the water carrying more evenly.I thought, when I ordered this, that I'd read it had 8 pockets. That must have been another bag. Instead, it had the main water bag pocket and 2 narrow mesh pockets on the side. I'd be worried about storing anything in the main water pocket for fear of puncturing the water pouch (not saying it was inferior whatsoever, just that hiking gear can be sharp). The mesh side pockets were extremely narrow. They'd be perfect for hiking poles, but they were too narrow to hold my iPhone or a 16.9oz water bottle, definitely not my Contigo water bottles.This bag was not defective whatsoever, but I thought the pockets were nearly useless, so that's the reason I returned it. If a lack of storage pockets isn't a problem for you, then I'd say this is a fantastic value for a basic hydration pack.
