Cannot speak to how long they will last, but once installed in my pinestraw covered flower beds, they look pretty good. I expected a cheaply made, plastic light, and that's exactly what you get. I replaced the stock bulbs with SRRB Direct 1.5W LED Replacement Landscape Pathway Light Bulbs. These bulbs make a huge difference in the brightness. I would call them bright, but not too bright. Easily five times brighter than stock.The lights are a bit short. I can see where most people may want them to stand a bit higher. The height worked fine for me. They were easy to assemble. Thanks to the nice quick connector, the lights connected to a 16/2 main very easily. Heck, I've seen the quick connectors selling for the price of the entire light.

Great add on lights to my existing landscape lighting I've had the past ten years. When you open the packages of lights be careful not to throw the included light bulbs away because they are tiny and in each separate baggy. I added on the 6 new lights to existing lights that look very similar to this design (the old ones had a pointier tip but you can barely see the difference); So I changed the light bulbs to T5 LED wedge bulbs instead so my outside transformer was able to handle the extra lights. Great price, good brightness, easy set up.... hoping they last through a few years like the older ones I have.

I really like these lights, and compared to what I am used to, even though they are plastic, they are very sturdy, well made, and you cannot beat the simplicity of the wire connector device, which I just love. The only problem is that the 4w bulbs are very hard to push into the socket. In fact, in 3 cases, I just could not do it. Kudos to the company because when I contacted customer service, not only did they respond but instead of just sending new bulbs, they sent complete lamps! I was really wowed by that. So I will be buying these lights on a regular basis. BTW, it is relatively easy to insert the larger 7w bulbs, but the company says they might be too hot for the unit. I'm still trying one of them out. I recommend these highly even though I have only had them for a short time, and the only reason for the loss of a star is the difficulty of inserting the bulbs. If you are willing to try 7w bulbs purchased separately, you won't have any problems at all.

I had an old Toro light system I could no longer get parts for. The covers were constantly coming off and, surprisingly, the wild turkeys were removing the bulbs! With these lights, the covers lock on.They were very easy to attach to my existing wiring. It saved me many dollars not having to buy a new system, not to mention all the labor if I had to replace the transformer and wiring.Great product! Highly recommended!

These are the lights that I have been looking every for! The big box stores quit carrying wired Malibu lights and switched to mostly Solar. I found through experimentation that these are almost identical in size, functionality and fit as the older Malibu lights that I am used to installing. They are actually cheaper than the old Malibu's too. I have purchased wedge base LED bulbs to put less load on the power supplies. Otherwise these look identical from the street and two feet away.

Overall I am displeased with this purchase but it is my bad as I did not read the product description adequately. On the plus side, the lights are easy to install, the light emitted is bright and the surrounding area is well lighted. I am concerned about using the connectors because connectors like that tend to corrode, I, therefore, installed the units without using them. On the negative side, inserting the light bulb was difficult and no instructions were included to make the process easier. The units are plastic, and I am concerned about the Arizona summers. The top cover for the units, at least for 2 of the units, did not install securely as the alignment for the tabs seem to be off preventing a snug fit.

I have the older malibu low voltage (4w) lighting system all around my house. Since I couldn't find replacement lights and didn't want to replace the whole lighting system I was looking for something that would 'match' what I already have. I purchased one of these Paradise lights first to try it out. It matched my older lights-you can't tell the difference and it worked great so I returned to purchase this set of 6. They are easy to install-easier than the malibus were. I may have to buy another set in order to make sure I have an ample supply.

I have sets of Malibu lights I bought from K-Mart 30 years ago. A few needed replacement. I bought these Paradise lamps for that purpose. I use LED inserts (rather than incandescent bulbs . . . no heat buildup & less electricity). These path lights are advertised as UV resistant. I live in Florida . . . heat, salt, UV. After 6-12 months, the white plastic housing surrounding the light bulbs (or LED inserts) disintegrates to the lightest touch. The Florida sunshine & heat does in the plastic. My 30-year-old K-Mart Malibu lights have white plastic housings that have stayed soft, pliable and non-brittle (excellent quality plastic). The black plastic caps on the Paradise lights likewise get brittle in 6-12 months. At least I'm able to replace these black caps with my old K-Mart black plastic caps (from spare parts).
