Arrived in two pieces ! Clearly broken deliberately by a packer to fit ins small bag .Fully refunded.

This yardstick has no metal ends as advertised and the wood I'd very rough, I got a splinter in my finger just by opening the package!The one star is not for the product (it doesn't deserve it) but for the packaging which was excellent.

Still using my ruler till now, never broke and I must commend its durability.

It's harder to find a thick, sturdy yardstick than one would think. I bought a couple others that had good reviews, but were pretty flimsy.This one really is thick and sturdy, which is good because I use it as a 3' pole as much as a yardstick. Great for getting kids toys from underneath the couch. :)It measures things up to about a yard long pretty well too. So long as you are in the US to need such a measurement, you are fine.

NO PROBLEMS.

At the local walmart these same stick was 12 dollars, a bit much for a wooden yard stick the from the orgin label cost maybe 2 us dollars to make. I ordered this for my sister that even thought she had to wait was well worth it for a well priced yard stick for her sewing craft. Due to foam or other materials she didnt want a metal yard stick has that can if not smoothed edged can couse tearing and with wood this is less likely.
