I don't know. Check with Sureflo. Most of those companies are very responsive to e-mail questions.

Q: Will this work in Shurflo 4008-101-E65?

The Pentair/Shurflo operation manual list this part as a direct replacement for all 4008 pumps.

Q: Instead of replacing the check valve, or pump, can't you just add an additional external inline check valve???

A shut off ball vale will also work. Be careful where you locate the check valve.
