Great product, does what it says. Make sure you fully press down on them when installing on a clean surface. I used a rolling pin to make sure it sticks everywhere

Recently, I rebuilt my front porch. I cut & pre-painted the new stair treads, as well as other new lumber that I used. Of course I read alot of reviews, and the reviews for this product had plenty mention about these curling up on the sides, as well as other similar products. My porch has 6 stairs, so I had 6 pieces of 2 x 10's, ready to go. When I received my order, I placed these on the treads and then stacked the treads. My intention was for the weight of the wood to help with the adhesion. A few days later, I checked for any signs of "curling". There was none, but it didn't take much, picking at the edges, to see that the potential was there. So I pulled them back up (1/2 way at a time) and used a spray adhesive, pressed them back down and did the same for the other halves. I restacked the wood again, for the weight to ensure a good adhesion. The next day, when I checked the edges, I was happy to see, what I thought, was a better adhesion. Albeit, when I pulled them up, after attaching, to spray the adhesive, it wasn't easy. The adhesion "is" pretty good, but it's the curling that I wanted to avoid. The stairs have been open to traffic for several weeks now. Also, it has rained quite a bit, once for a whole week, just about. As of this writing, I am happy to report, there is still no curling. The picture that I'm including, was taken as I am writing this review. I'll be replacing some rotted boards on my back deck in the spring, so again I will have a need to purchase something for the stairs back there, and I will reorder this product. I happened to have spray adhesive already. But it's inexpensive enough to purchase, like $6 - $7 a can. To some, it may feel that it's an unacceptable added step, but I'm ok with it. It was easy enough and I have great results. So, as an unpaid, no free product given user of this product, I WILL purchase this again in the spring. Highly recommend!!

These were great once I finally got the backing off - I tried corners, then finally went to where the glow line was and worked on that area with tweezers for a good half hour to get it started. Once started, it was easy to pull off, but they should have put some sort of starter tab to make it easier and faster. After getting the backing off, the adhesion is excellent, good anti slip, and the bright line is very visible, which all contribute to making stairs more safe - I used them on old wooden stairs inside the garage. Also, the box they shipped in was small, so they came rolled up - I had to put them under a heavy rug for a day to get them flattened out. It would be better to ship them flat.

I feel a little safer knowing these treads have been placed on each step.

Comes in a roll - just roll out your self-adhesive stair tread, peel it off the roll, and install it on your surface. Easy peasy! No glue/mess, no directions, no need to figure out how to use the product.Replaced a rubber stair tread at the bottom of my cellar stairs that had worn out and partially tore off with repeated traffic. Very pleased with the result!

They started peeling a month after they were adhered to the steps.

I bought these for outside stairs. At first they were great. They definitely made the stairs slip proof. However, they did not last. They stopped sticking within a couple of months.

I liked how it was easy to apply just peel and stick. It served the purpose of anti-slip perfect for my dogs should’ve bought it years ago will be getting more for my other stairs.

Installed these on a freshly stained deck and steps to create a non slip path from the patio door to the back yard. They are still holding firm and doing a great job, now halfway through the winter.

It was too cold when I installed so adhesive didn’t work real well so I just put few staples in. I really like them for safety on icy steps. Good product for the price.
