Very reliable and easy to use.
This unit performed well during last year's power outages from hurricanes. I had to use propane when gasoline was hard to find and it performed very well. I highly recommend this unit. Need hearing protection near the unit.

Great for the price and size
In my current neighborhood, it isn't practical to have a permanent generator next to the house. The Generac I have had in my prior home has to activate weekly for testing and it makes a lot of noise. I am using this one for emergencies.I have a portable battery backup/inverter for the house (Bluetti) that can power part of my house for about 6 hours. If I need backup longer than that, I can power this up and plug the inverter into this so that it is charging (or recharging) and feeding the house at the same time. It is noisy, but I am only going to use it for emergencies.Portable is also a great solution for me as we have a motorhome as well.Assembly was easy and it has worked on natural gas on the first try.

Generator for our small mountain vacation house
Perfect size and fairly easy to put together. Best 2 man job. Once we got it cranked on propane surprisingly quiet. I bought the largest tri-fuel for our home which of course is much larger. Great experience overall.

Works better than expected
I love the option of using three separate fuel choices. The electric starter works every time.I live over 5,000’ asl and needed a different sized jet. The part number from the manual was not available on the Champion website, but an email to the customer support resulted in the correct part shipped to me at no charge. I appreciate knowing they have my back. This is my third Champion generator. I still have my second one and have used it for twelve years now and it still starts with the first pull every time.

Loud as a jet plane. DO NOT BUY FOR CAMPING. NON RETURNABLE FYI.
Bought for of grid camping trips. 68 decibels is an absolute lie. 95 degree temps and wanted to be able to run my AC. Started my generator using propane and every other camper spot came over to tell me to turn it off. So now my kids are extremely hot and my wife is more than upset. False advertising…. I don’t do negative reviews, but “normal conversation” is 68 decibels and at 23’ (as add states) from the generator is a lie. Also why 23’, I want to know how loud the generator is when it’s in my camp site and next to my trailer. I have a 9500w champion generator as a backup power unit for my house and absolutely love it with no issues, it’s loud but that’s not an issue as it’s used for emergency power outages only. I bought this new generator for off grid camping in the Pacific Northwest, and it unable to its jet engine noise.🚀👎🏻
